Esp. when the doctor had prescribed for the use of medicated eyedrop for post cataract surgery for about 4 times on average for a month?

You chouldn't have any complications from doing that. You can put the drops in differently by just pulling down your lower eyelid and droping it in, or lay down and put the drops in the corner of your eye with your eyes closed and just open and shut your eyes to get the drop in. Gravity does the rest.

No , but try to put the drops in the lower fornix , ie pull the lower lid and put the drop in that gap between the lid and the glop
