HELLO MOFFSKI,
CONTRARY TO POPULAR BELIEF, TEETH ARE ACTUAL LIVING ENTITIES. THEY HAVE A NERVE SUPPLY AND A SMALL VEIN AND ARTERY.
THIS FACT IS KNOWN WELL BY DENTISTS.
ps. nails and hair are not living, ever get a hair cut or trim your nails? Did this hurt or bleed?

They are bones with lots of nerves. thats why they hurt so much when you have a toothache. and root canals are infections in the tooth aka bone so thats why they hurt so bad. but as far as actually living. yes and no. They grow like bones.

Yes.
I discovered this when I went to the dentist complaining of severe toothache and was informed the tooth had died.
