Never dated like long term. I chatted with a woman online for a small period of time. We hooked up and then that was it. I tried to date online before, but could tell the women were weirdos just by our online chats. Maybe you just gotta come across the right one.

Yes, I think it's the best way, if you spend a lot of time on-line first getting to know them before you ever meet. This is because on line conversations tend to be more honest and open. You get to know the real person faster and more honestly. For some reason we all tend to wear masks in person, and only gradually let a person in. We have to trust them to let them get to know us. On line “dating” lets you tell all with out risk because you can walk away at anytime. But this only works if you are not in a hurry to meet them. Otherwise on-line dating is just a meat market.

To answer your question Yes, I have. I have been together with the guy that I met online for 10 months now. We are planning to get married. Please be careful when making the decision to date people online. You never know who you might be meeting. My suggestion is that you chat with the person for a while and get a feeling for that person then make your decision. Good Luck!
