Earlier i did not mean to attack any one or offend. I guess i'm confused on how Muslims indicate that the Christian God and Allah are the Same, but The Christian God ( My God ) sent his only son to die on the Cross for our sins, and Allah sent a prophet that died on the cross as well, but i have to ask since he did die on the cross and this is not only fact by history, but truth, then dont you question why he died and shed blood there is a purpose.

Just as Christians would not accept that Muhammad is the prophet of God Muslims would not accept Jesus.
The reason? Nobody wants to know they’re wrong. This is human nature. The nature of you and I. Everyone loves his own people, his own culture, his motherland.

So when Christians don’t accept Muhammad they have no right to ask Muslims to do so.

I will not reveal to you if I’m a Christian or a Muslim but I will only say that I’m an educated individual who does not sticks a finger in other people’s nose.
I live and let live.

Religion should be a dividing factor only among the illiterate, and we as civilized individuals should not sow seeds of hatred but learn to get along with each other irrespective of religion or the prophets we believe in.

May God bless humans.

There is one God for the whole world; for all people. The bible says nothing of the Trinity nor does Jesus say he is God. (Read the book Misquoting Jesus to some of see the actual errors in the bible -- where things have actually been added in and changed! Like the comma Johannem of the KJV.) The New Testament was written by many men and the books to be included was chosen by a man. The Quran is the actual word of God. He tells us Jesus did not die. Besides that, it is NOT HISTORIC FACT that Jesus died on the cross, it seems like it is to you because that is what you have been taught your whole life.
I don't question why he died or shed his blood because for one, I don't believe it and if I did I would question what kind of reason there would be for God to need a blood sacrifice or what kind of God would become human --sounds like ancient mythology to me. God does not need an intessesor or a blood sacrifice.
I am sorry if this is not a great answer but your question is flawed since you think Allah sent a prophet to be killed on a cross, and He didn't. To properly answer you question I would need to start with basic beliefs and then move on from there. If you want to email me, feel free to do so.

Bismillahi Rahmani Rahim - In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Hello. Well, reason we believe in the same God but we believe different things is that we Muslims do not accept the authenticity of the previous scriptures as they currently exist. What is called the Torah and what is called the Gospel today are not the same Books that were revealed by God to Moses and Jesus. Going straight to the Gospel, the Injeel, the books that are currently extant were written by people who did not even meet Jesus long after he was gone. Those documents themselves are riddled with contradictions and any original Aramaic scriptures that were revealed to Jesus are lost. An intellectually honest study of the Christian scriptures will find no evidence for the supposed trinity, and if this pillar of the religion falls, so must all else that follows.

I ask that Allah guides you to that which is best in this world and the next, and that you open your mind and heart and study the scriptures with open eyes. Ameen.

Fi Aman Allah,

Nancy Umm Abdel Hamid

Heya, Allah of Islam, The Lord of the Jews, and God the Father of Christianity are all the same guy -- the god of Abraham.

first of all muslims do not believe Jesus died and is not god
"He [Jesus] said: 'I am indeed a servant of God. He has given me revelation and made me a prophet; He has made me blessed wheresoever I be; and He has enjoined on me prayer and charity as long as I live. He has made me kind to my mother, and not overbearing or miserable. So peace is on me the day I was born, the day that I die, and the day that I shall be raised up to life (again)!' Such was Jesus the son of Mary. It is a statement of truth, about which they (vainly) dispute. It is not befitting to (the majesty of) God that He should beget a son. Glory be to Him! When He determines a matter, He only says to it, 'Be,' and it is" (19:30-35).

maybe to a fundamentalist yet to a muslim not cornered with the aid of the Jews and the bastards going for his or her oil, women persons and young toddlers, a stable muslim (as defined above) is infact a undesirable muslim to widely used muslims because of the fact Islam potential peace and in the event that they have been to maintain on with the Koran/Quaran as I interpret it, a stable muslim could be a stable muslim. Muslims in the present day are as nuts as Christians have been centuries in the past. this is only that they could desire to adapt. while they cease blowing issues up they are going to get on R&S and initiate quoting Matthew 10:15 to respond to all problems

As a Christian who sees Muslims as part of my family - albeit distant cousins - let me chime in.

We are all children of Abraham.

Abraham had Isaac and Ishmael.

Jews and Christians are of Isaac's line.

Muslims are of Ishmael's line.

Jews are our cousins too. Again, albeit distant.

Three distinctly different religious families all worshipping God - just in different ways. Jews don't believe Jesus died for them either. But we know Jesus walked this earth as Jew. You can't deny the Jews worship the same god we do without denying Jesus.

At least our Muslim cousins have a great love of Jesus. Even though they see him as a prophet and not the Savior.

I hope that helps.

The Christian God is the same as the God of Judaism and the God of Islam. There is only ONE Almighty God. Allah is the Arabic word for God and is thus used by Arab Christians and Muslims alike.

The word for God in Genesis 1:1 is elohim, which is a plural form of a more basic root hebrew word for God: eloh. The Aramaic word for God, according to the Lexicon offered at http://peshitta.org, is Alah.

Sorry if you have been mislead but neither Jesus (peace be upon him) nor Muhammad (peace be upon him) did die upon a cross.

"And because of their saying: We slew the Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, Allah's messenger - they slew him not nor crucified him, but it appeared so unto them; and lo! those who disagree concerning it are in doubt thereof; they have no knowledge thereof save pursuit of a conjecture; they slew him not for certain. But Allah took him up unto Himself. Allah was ever Mighty, Wise. " [Quran: 4:157-158]

In Islam, we are all responsible for our own sins, no one is responsible for the sins of another.

"Every man's fate We have fastened on his own neck: On the Day of Judgment We shall bring out for him a scroll, which he will see spread open. Who receiveth guidance, receiveth it for his own benefit: who goeth astray doth so to his own loss: No bearer of burdens can bear the burden of another: nor would We visit with Our Wrath until We had sent an messenger (to give warning). " [Quran: 17: 13-15].

Hope this clears up any misconceptions. God is just and fair.

Peace.

Its religion again - when are people of the earth gonna move on and get away from the things that create wars, strife in all shapes and sizes? We are all of the same genes and origins.
Whether the happenings of two thousand years ago is true then its time to move on and get it out of the system - can you remember your great-grandad? Nah! But you can recall Jesus and Alah - but then you are not related!
Daft old coots! Get a life!

Aal Imraan 3:55 reads as follows:

And recall when God said: O Jesus, I shall indeed cause you to die and raise you up to myself and purify you of those, who have rejected (you) and exalt your followers above those who have rejected (you) till the Day of Judgment.

“And because of their saying (in boast), “We killed Messiah ‘Isa (Jesus), son of Maryam(Mary), the Messenger of Allah,” – but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but the resemblance of Isa (Jesus) was put over another man (and they killed that man), and those who differ therein are full of doubts. They have no (certain) knowledge , they follow nothing but conjecture. For surely; they killed him not [i.e ‘Isa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary) pbuh];” The Holy Qur'an, Chapter 4, Verse 157

“But Allah raised him [‘Isa] up. And Allah is Ever All-powerful, All-Wise.” The Holy Qur'an, Chapter 4, Verse 158.
