A bill has been passed by the Government that allows the construction of internment camps in the Southwest region of the United States. In your city, your vote is the deciding vote to take action to put people in these camps. Do you vote for the removal from the city of only one of these groups:

*All "undesirable" minorities (including blacks, Jews, Hispanic immigrants, illegal or otherwise, and people of Middle Eastern origin)
*All people who have been identified as gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgendered
*All people aged 65 or older deemed 'infirm' or otherwise unable to take care of themselves.

Do you pick to vote for one of those groups for removal and possible extermination, or do you choose to stand against the law, and possibly risk incarceration and death yourself?

"You shall love your neighbor as yourself." is the second-half of the greatest command in the Bible.

A Christian would be obligated to stand against the unfair treatment of others.

I would be against such a law, in principal. However, if a person of any group was found to be guilty of any action against the U.S or its citizens, then I feel that person should be tried in a court of law. If that person was a foriegn national, they should be deported if found guilty, and never allowed to return. If they had become a naturalized citizen, and were found guilty of whatever crime, they should be jailed as any other citizen would be.
Just because a person is from some group or ethnic background, or is Gay or Lesbian, that doesn't predispose them to commit acts against the U.S. or American citizens. As a result, nobody should be placed in a an internment camp based solely upon their race, ethnic background, spiritual beliefs, or sexual orientation, until they have done something or espoused some position that proves they are a clear and present danger.
However, one thing I feel is very important, is that when people come to this country, they must be willing to renounce their former citizenship entirely, and assimilate into American society. That means no "hyphen-Americans." No "African-Americans" no "Irish-Americans" no "Arab-Americans" no "Mexican-Americans" etc, etc.
If you want to live here in our country, then act as an American. I don't care what your color, ethnic background, or religion is. You are welcome in my country as long as you're willing to BE A PART of my country, and lend your gifts to our society, not just others from your own little background group.
And, if you're not a legal citizen, then you must remember that you are a GUEST in our country, just as you would be a guest in the home of someone whom you don't know well who has, nevertheless, opened their home and hearth to you. Therefore, you should be on your best behavior, and if you're not, then you have no place to gripe when America tells you it's time for you to leave.
Period.

technically, you would not be going against the law since your vote decides whether these camps are built or not (if i am understanding the question).
also, God does command us to follow the laws of our land but there is a limit to this. i can't even really say that this "loop hole" is in the Bible or not, but i can say that if the government made killing people that are handicapped a law, i would not abide by it because it is absurd and obviously wrong...i don't care who you are or what your religion, if any. i would gladly risk my life to stand up against such inhuman acts.

it is difficult to associate faith with politics because the two apparently don't mix very well and although i am a citizen of my country, i am a Christian above all else.

i assume the easy answer is particular, yet there would choose be lots extra too it. He would have had to describe it extra effective than in basic terms that the international became (whilst it truly is) overpopulated, like he would ought to describe that he has completed away with all the different commandments approximately procreation, marriage, not beautiful in gay intercourse acts, etc. additionally, based on your hypothetical it leaves it as much as the follower to verify whilst the international is overpopulated and as a result the guy would pray to ask God whilst that must be. as a results of fact the international in basic terms isn't overpopulated (ninety 9.9% probable to be the case), then it would be a frivilous or pointless commandment, which i'd then ask God why He would supply the form of frivilous commandment. i'm constructive His answer would be that He became truly in basic terms sorting out human beings and seeing in the event that they might use God and His teachings as an excuse for beautiful specially habit (or not), which he had specifically forbidden. i assume there are in basic terms too many holes in thy hypothetical. yet, to be clean, if God did ask that individuals in no doubtful way that they ought to take somebody of the comparable intercourse to be their better half, then i don't think i ought to disobey, no count how opposite it became to everthing He has ever taught and commanded.
