Your question is a very good one. But I don't know anyone who has a perfect knowledge that is walking on earth (not even in Yahoo Answer Forums)
I can only refer back to the Scriptures:
Luke 21:13-15 It basically says (to me) that don't worry, that when the opportunity rises, the Lord will give you what to say.

YUP!!! We Are Human sure enough!!! So Does Ur Life Change "Testify" to the Working of Christ & the H.S. in Ur Life??? And U didn't have to Utter a Word!!! Imagine that!!! If U think for one minute that U "Can't Testify" because U don't have the Bible "Memorized", ask Urself this!!! Did the Disciples even Have a "Bible"??? Scripture says "Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workmen that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." 2Tim. 2:15 So, get studying & "Testify" with Ur changed Lifestyle. The Old Saying " Actions speak Louder than Words" is quite true!!! People will see & then ask about the "New U" and Then U can let them know what caused the change!!! John

I serve the one true God, the God of Heaven and earth, not the god of this world, satan.
We are human and yes so many mistakes I myself make, but when we as believers get to Heaven what a day of rejoicing that will be. And even then my understanding is we will continue to learn about God.
I'd rather think I would continue my learning, because I love the Word and Biblical His-story.
I have been in the Assembly of God since a child, Believe me when I say I know there are different views and interpretations. So much has been corrected in the past years , so much!<><

To not testify at all would be like being a doctor who never saw patients because he didn't understand all illnesses yet.
We grow in knowledge all the time if we are actively seeking Him.
If you don't know the answer to a question, it's best just to say I don't know than to try to bluff your way thru it. If the person that asked the question really wants the answer, then research it and get back to them.
Remember, our job is to introduce people to Christ. It is the power of the Holy Spirit that does the rest. Jesus said to go and tell, not to learn everything there is to know, then go tell.

I find the best way to testify for Jesus and God is to live my life like I believe, Actions speak louder than words. Also, a lot of people like to question all aspects of the Bible, when John 3:16 and others like it are the only ones you really need to be concerned with when witnessing. Don't let others throw you off track. Hope that helps, thanks and have a great day!

Not to witness at all. All the Divine Institutions, marriage, family, church, government, country are places of extreme blessing if all behave properly according to the Divinity that established them. To not testify of a God that can bless these institutions and the individuals in them would be a travesty leaving people hopeless of the full reality of faith, hope, and love that can be attained there in and would keep people ignorant of all the potential blessings they should receive in them.

The Bible tells us to testify to others of what God has done for us. None of us has perfect knowledge of God. Still God tells us to testify. The Holy Spirit works in the life of each person who comes to God, so we don't need to let our imperfect knowledge stop us.

It is better if we try to help each other understand the complexity which is. Then to not try to help our brethren in their walk and help them in answering questions the best to our ability and knowledge. That is the beauty is we are human. We are not God or gods for that matter. God knows our heart and can see that we are trying to do his works. If it is a question you honestly feel needs further examination send them to a member of the religious counsel they follow to help guide them. Many here are just asking for hypocritical use it seems. But, the most important is you do your best in your works and try your best to walk in His spirit. To help guide his flock. What is said by one may not make since to another. Just like teachers in school some of them didn't make any since so we had to decipher the answers for our self's.
Blessings to you,
Your Sister In Christ

Not to testify at all is worse...God commands us not to hide our light under a bushel and to give him the glory in all things. This is testifying to God!
However, the word is a two-edged sword...testifying when taken to the extreme of preaching to others can hurt you as much as it hurts the other person if you don't have sufficient knowledge of the word!

I would say to not witness at all.
I believe in God and I'm a Christian, but I'm the first one to say I don't have a perfect knowledge of anything relating to God. I've come to believe that is were faith comes in.
