A girl and guy were speeding over 100 mph on the road on a motorcycle...
Girl: Slow down. I'm scared.
Guy: No this is fun.
Girl: No its not. Please, its too scary!
Guy: Then tell me you love me.
Girl: Fine, I love you. Slow down!
Guy: Now give me a BIG hug.
Girl hugs him
Guy: Can you take my helmet off & put it on yourself? Its bugging me.
In the paper the next day :( A motorcycle had crashed into a building because of brake failure. Two people were on it, but
only one had survived. The truth was that halfway down the road, the guy realized that
his brakes broke, but he didn't want to let the girl know. Instead, he had her say she loved him & felt her hug him one
last time, then had her wear his helmet so that she would live even though it meant that he would die.

That is so stupid. It could not happen. The air resistance and engine compression at 100 mph is so great that, even going down a steep hill, the motorcycle would quickly slow down without giving it the gas. It would be like applying the breaks. And the guy would break even more by shifting in lower gears.
In less time than the conversation took, without any breaks except air resistance and engine compression, the motorcycle would have slowed down to 30 mph.

That story isn't as sweet as it appears at first (even though it's hypothetical, I hope). I ride a motorcycle and the guy was an idiot to put his helmetless gf on the bike (but he had one!), and then to go 100 mph with her. And why not let off the throttle and use the brake that worked (bikes have separate front and back brakes typically) or just allow the bike to slow on its own?
That's not love...that's a fool. Sorry, but silly "feel good" stories aren't what this site is for...and no, I wouldn't have done that because I've got more sense than to carry a helmetless passenger at 100mph. I've got nothing to prove.

He should have loved her enough to protect her before the motorcycle ride even started by providing her with a helmet so if something happened then they both would have had a better chance of survival instead of leaving her behind to suffer for loosing him.

Yeah yeah that's sweet and all, but BOTH of them should've had helmets in the first place. The girl shouldn't have even been willling to get on a motorcycle without a helmet, as has been previously stated.

that guy was jerk and freaking idiot cause now she is going to have survivor's guilt and she will feel like she should have done something more to help him even though he brought his death on himself. First of all, I would not get on a motorcycle with a guy and without a helmet is crazy. My boyfriend says he is getting a motorcycle and ask me if I would ride with him and I say hell no. the guy in the story was brave but stupid.

I love someone enough to have my bike/car/truck maintained properly before going on a trip.
I love someone enough to have 2 properly fitting helmets and insist that everyone wear them. Same goes for proper bike clothing - as in leathers.
I love someone enough to drop the bike before speeding up to 100 mph. Road rash and even broken bones hurt - but you get over it.
Our lives are too precious a gift from God to be stupid with them.

Thats romantic and tragic at the same time. Not all guys would do it that way. I would turn off the key and let the bike slow to a stop and live my life with my girlfriend.

Is this a chain letter? I guess I would do it, all options are bad in that scenario but I guess death would be better then watching love die and then living in shame. Wow...I answered a chain letter for the first time!

first of all, why would you be doing stupid stuff without a helmet on your passenger??? second of all, after realizing brakes were out, get off the throttle, and start downshifting....but i guess i see the point.... cant believe he screwed up his bike like that though
