If that person gets a ticket and they are not covered in your insurance for your car would that affect your insurance. I know the ticket would be their responsibility but what about the insurance part?

In general, no. Ticket is to the driver, not the owner.

However, I'd question your intelligence in lending your car to someone who was driving bad enough to get pulled over.

AND I'd check your insurance policy for stuff regarding "lending cars" to someone else. If anything happens, and they deny your claim because they don't cover non-listed drivers, then you would be completely ****ed.

No accident? If not you have nothing to worry about. Next time be careful who you lend your car to. Dont know if you ever heard that one commercial "If it's your boat, It's you responsibility" just a thought.

Since insurance goes with vehicles, not with drivers, if they are driving with your permission and YOU have coverage, they are covered.
