Cause my kids just made something in the microwave and I have no idea what it is but it exploded.

It would probably be best to seek a good alcohol based cleaner and some clean paper towels as well as a styrofoam cup filled with a solution of water and white vinegar -- excellent for such microwave messes.

Like the movie, My Big Fat Greek Wedding...use Windex...for everything....spray some Windex on it and let it sit for a few minutes...
It will probably come off with no trouble.
