That's a good question. As an atheist, I am really an agnostic. I live my life as if no god exists, but because it is both unverifiable and unfalsifiable I assume it doesn't and therefore consider myself to be an atheist. I would respect the kind of agnostic who actually takes a position like that over one who just doesn't care enough or is too fickle to make a decision. I would also respect a (respectful) Christian with conviction over some agnostic who likes to spew post-modern philosophical nonsense about the existence of god.

I have respect for everyone who shows respect. I think Agnostics have a better grasp of reality than die-hard christians who refuse to consider anything contrary to what their religious leader tells them. I was an Agnostic for a while before I made up my mind.

I don't disrespect Christians as a group, I don't believe in their believes, there's a difference. I do appreciate an agnostic more than a Christian as they are more open minded, but I will never believe in God,or the possiblity that there might be one.

I would normally assume that atheists are much more likely to abhor Christians, while they view Agnostics in a favorable light due to the opinion that Agnostics are much more closer to their beliefs.

Actually, I do because even though Christians are nihilist I don't see them as being AS nihilist as agnostics. It's like the old saying "If you stand for nothing, you'll fall for anything". Agnostics would be just as likely as Christians to be goosestepping in Germany ca. 1939.

Not usually. Agnostics are at least considering the topic. Most Christians are not really thinking about it at all, but rather simply going with the cultural flow.

I respect good people. What their religious beliefs are, are their own business. Belief or non-belief does not determine whether a person is good or bad. Morals and self respect do.
