lol i don't see why a lot of atheists write that, i may be an atheist too, but i think using the phrase "atheism, the logical choice" after everything is just arrogant.

You are correct in saying that you are not a god. No one on earth is capable of being a god or having god-like powers. People may think they do but they don't and it is def. aggravating when they think they do. I must disagree with your statement that atheism is a logical choice. I believe that the Christian faith is the most logical and valid.

Have you done any research on this belief of Atheism?? Do you agree with everything that it proclaims?? Does it make sence?

I have studied atheism and other religions a little bit and decided on Christianity. It makes the most sence...I know to believe it you must believe in God. But the God Christianity proclaims is not a cruel, heartless being. The God I believe in is kind, compassionate, giving, protecting, wise, and best of all forgiving. My God, my Savior, has forgiven me of everything, every mistake I ever made. Plus He has poured out blessing after blessing on me.

I'm not just blabbing away on stuff I made up or heard through the grapevines...trust me. I could never believe something I know nothing about. I have studied this book called the Bible for years and have come to the conclusion that God exists. Check out the book. Start by reading the section called Matthew. It will explain a lot. I only ask that you make a wise decision and follow Christ Jesus the One True Living God.

Since you personally have a beef with God, then atheism is the logical choice? Doesn't make sense. To hate something that you have to believe in to hate and then to act as if it is a foregone conclusion that you must not believe in him.

That isn't logical.

Disbelief is not the same thing as hatred. Disbelief means that there is insufficient convincing evidence. Hatred involves an emotional response.

As to whether I am a God, I don't even come close to fitting into any of the common definitions of a deity, so I cannot be accurately described as a God. I'm simply a human being, like you.

Hatred of the concept of god is not a valid reason to be an atheist. You've just said that you don't believe in the concept, because you hate it. But how can you hate something when you deny that it exists? I'd call you an anti-theist, at best.

Atheism is the metaphysical understanding of the universe by using logic and reason. You can't really be atheist based on feelings. You have to understand it through thought.

Hating a concept implies a recognition of a concept. Since Atheists do not recognize god in any form...you cannot say you hate god and be an Atheist...it is better to say you are ambivalent because god does not exist, if you are going to make that choice...

Look around and look at all the things in the world you see. I have a question..If you were wandering all alone in the woods and stumbled apon a cabin, went inside and saw that it had all the things you needed to survive, would you draw the conclusion that...it was just there? Or that some one had built that cabin? And also, i don't know what exactly you believe, the chances of the earth of just forming itself is in all other ways impossible,, thats like putting a handful of metal in a bag,, and shaking to and fro in hopes that a 'watch" would come out of it.
