Dear ZH,
I would read the Bible to them and then talk about it together. This would be great to do everyday for a half-hour before bed. On Sunday, you could ask each of your children to find a verse in the Bible and then sit down and talk about the verse. You and your wife could do it also. Just emphasize that the Bible is God's word and that it is to be taken seriously. Pray and ask the Lord before you begin your Bible study and thank Him after you finish. You may want to include some hymns in your Bible study-it does not matter if you or your wife play a musical intrument.
It does not matter if your knowledge of the Bible is small. As you continue to study, the Lord will begin to show you topics that relate to one another in the Bible. A Bible Concordance is also very helpful and easy to use. Also there a good Bible study program on the radio called the "Open Forum." People call in with their questions and the host answers them from the Bible. Just Google FamilyRadio.com.

The two sites you propose don't explain anything...
If you are seriously asking...
Even if you don't believe, there is no reason to be disrespectful... tell them that he is believed to be a Jew who lived in the 1st century C.E., that Christians believe is the Jewish messiah, and tell them some of the things he taught; I'm sure you agree with some of the principles.
And leave it at that until they are old enough to understand... the last thing this world needs is more bigotry.

A Christian parent should introduce their child to Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord, at an early age. Pray in front of them, read the Bible in front of them. Be "Christ like" in behavior. Loving, compassionate, kind, giving like our Blessed Lord and Savior. Amen!

Indoctrinating your children, who have no idea what is real or not, into believing in an imaginary "savior" is just child abuse. You should teach them to question and use rational and logical thought in all things. Teaching them to believe in things without evidence is hurtful to them.
