You are going to get the standard response - he gave you free will! They don't then say but you are not free to not believe because he'll send you to Hell for it, thus making it a demand or else. If God were real he'd be a conroll freak.

Two reasons........ Ah actually 3
1) Do you have any pets? You know they will die. Why did you get them if you knew you would have to suffer seeing them perish?
2) Indirectly you may lead people to God, or maybe one day even be converted yourself. Just to elaborate on this point, one day an Atheist wrote a letter to the editor saying something about how Jesus was a myth or something like that, and I wrote a reply. Someone later called me and said that my article made them rededicate their life to Christ. Now if it were not for that Atheist, I would not have written that reply, and that person would have continued neglecting God. But because of that Atheist, a defense of the Christian faith was made, and it brought someone to Christ. Because of that, that Atheist, although they may go to hell, I don't know, but even they were responsible for that other person converting.
3) .... Well imagine what that would be like if you were just immediately put in hell since God knew you would go there anyway. You would say, "What are you talking about God? You didn't even give me a chance! I might have made different decisions, I don't know what I did wrong"
The last part is very important. Imagine if someone just came up to you and arrested you and said, "You WOULD HAVE broken the law" you wouldn't understand why you are put in prison. But by living on earth, and making the choices that you do, if there is an afterlife you will understand your place in it, and why you were put there. You wouldn't go to hell and say, "Why am I here" you would remember, "Oh darn I was an Atheist and did not atone for sins." You would understand why you were put there.

HI Scuba Dude,
In the Bible it states that God is Omniponent and Omnipresent, if that is true, then why does he send his MALAKIM (Emissaries) around the globe to report back to
him concerning what goes on in the world? If he knows it all?
Your doing fine, don't worry about it, hell is a place where we
evenually go to, i.e., The Hole In The Ground.

Life is given so that you can make choices. You can either choose to believe in God or not. The reason he made you was to follow and love Him. However not everyone chooses that. He gave us free will and will not force Himself upon us. A child is born innocent. Atheism is developed in life through choices. Just because your atheist now doesnt mean you always will be. Many people change. I include myself in this.
Hope htis helps.

Perhaps you have a nitrogen bubble lodged somewhere in your brain, which is the real cause of your atheistic mentality, and which will miraculously dissolve moments before you die, allowing you to make peace with God, and enjoy an eternity in SCUBA heaven.

Religions have created by the persons who took birth on our earth. Believe it such persons have special qualities then others follow them path.Their teaching were to teach truth and honesty. In case if you follow the path of truth and honesty then you follow superior religion among all religions. In the eyes of God either Atheist or any religion person have the same value and He judge your work according to your truth and honesty and not by religion.

He is giving you a choice. Basic truth: You can believe in him and be in heaven, eternal paradise, or you can choose not to believe and suffer eternal death in hell. Your life is the time he gives you to come to faith in him. If you don't, you suffer the consequences.

Somehow most Christians think "free will" is a satisfactory answer. If it is, then what is the point? God places us all on earth just to see if we'll obey the bible? Isn't this entrapment?

If you feel that way then why don't you just stop being an atheist all together? I mean that would make more sense.
