like iraq, when years ago you were shouting "god bless america" in the streets, and puting US flags on your car.

if god was really with you, you would have won the war, dont you think.
oh, maybe God as decided you were the bad guy.

the justice of god, do you know it?

I find it interesting reading some of the answers that people put flags up on 9/11 but what about 9/10 or before that? I was a Marine and I come from a military family. I have flown a flag outside of my house since as early as I can remember in childhood. It didnt take 9/11 for me to show my patriotism. Sometimes I call these people holiday patriots. And as far as the war in Iraq, it is simply a urban viet-nam which we will never come out as a clear winner. The real sad part of all of this is the over 3000 american soldiers who have died because Bush had an agenda to settle.

Of course America is losing the war - not losing as bad as the citizens of Iraq, but losing all the same. How can you win a war with no clearly defined objective? Remove Saddam? Done that - catch Osama? Not sure that is ever going to happen - running around Iraq is not getting the job done.
George W. said it was our duty to bring democracy to the Middle East. Really? They don't seem to want it. So it seems to me we are forcing democracy on the middle east - doesn't that make us the terrorists?
I will be the first one to admit I supported the war in the beginning, but from all I can see it isn't working. George W is spending an obscene amount of money on this war and after all this time what are the results? Many young Americans dieing and a few people getting very rich.

We need to leave. The citizens of Iraq are intelligent people and they don't need us.

The " War " was over and won in 2 months. The current policing action of Iraq is an ongoing mission to allow the Iraqi government time to defend itself and establish their own military and police forces.

who says we are losing the war. we have only lost a few thousand soldiers (unfortunatly my brother was one) and the enemy has lost in the tens to hundreds of thousands depending on whose estimates you use. I see the insurgents using hit and run tactics not mass deployments and open troop movements. These are not the halmarks of the winning side. Eventually we will be able to return our soldiers to their homes when we have helped afganistan and iraq stabilize their governments and political situation. But we have not lost this confilct. It sounds to me like you are the one with the experience at losing a war. Sucks doesn't it.

There is a difference between losing a war and getting sick and tired of a war. I would not say we are losing a war when we are whooping Al- Qaeda's a** day in and day out. The only thing is that we are tired of fighting people that want to blow themselves up.

My God, it's sad when Americans say that they hate America and do nothing but b*tch about this and that. If you think you'd be better off somewhere else, by all mean, start selling your homes, pack your shite, and go somewhere that makes you more comfortable.

It's sick.

All wars are lost when another one happens. The only answer to war is peace, it really is that simple.
