see my daughter want to get married at hooters. and she thinks that paper cups and plates are mighty fine and serve hot dogs and beer.and the cake is one u buy at the walmart.her wedding dress was bought from the thrift store and her bouquet is from the 99 cent store

sounds perfect, the only fabulous finishing touch is that after each and every person at the event is blind drunk an ex- girfriend of the groom must crash the reception. make sure she is suitably pregnant by him, at least 7 months, and that she knows where the bride is so she can charge up to her and start to violently rip her wedding dress off. if they break a couple tables and even better, fly into the wedding cake, you have a fantastic redneck success!

I think that if that's what makes her happy, then thats fine. Also maybe the financial part of it is one to consider for her.
Its not about where two people get married, or how... its about a life long commitment to love each other. (Like the old saying.. It's not where you are, but who your with that counts)
If you think that its white trash of her to plan her wedding this way... please... keep it to yourself..or it will really hurt her, and you may find that you miss her special day.

I dont know about white trash but thats pretty unclassy. I;m not making a big deal either, but not THAT badly! If she were my daughter I'd scrounge up some money for a small hall, or even a restaraunt with a party room, and save her some embarrassment.

goodness...hoooters? Does she work there or meet her hubby there? Man oh man... a dress froma thrift shop is no big deal...neither are paper cups and plates if that's what she can afford. I would say everything is fine except hooters...I mean REALLY! lol buy hey... as long as she's happy.

If that's what your daughter wants, then she's really saving you a bundle of money. I've seen couples get married on bass boats with a cooler full of beer, backyard barbecue weddings with honky tonk music, and I think that it's not what I consider, that matters. May they always be happy.

yep!!! This would qualify!! And To Jayme K--- Just because someone lives in a trailer does not make them trash and does not mean the deserve to be hit by a hurricane!!! For your reference I don't live in a trailer but know plenty of nice people who do.
