It's not true. Are people saying it is? Religion is a learned behavior.

Born with the knowledge of God is not Biblical. You receive the knowledge of God through the Holy Spirit, and that takes years of in depth study of the scriptures, and living a life of prayer. The christian faith is not a religion, it is having a personal relationship with God through His Son Jesus, the messiah.
What you see stated time and time again, is not what the true christian believes. What you see is a lot of commercial religious stuff invented to make someone a lot of money. The Bible says, few will even find the way. The Bible also says, many people will think they are Heaven bound, because of the good works they did on earth, but God will say get away form me, I don't know you. In conclusion, if you are interested in a personal relationship with Jesus, go to the Billy Graham web site, and you will be led to the truth. Be prepared to give your life to Jesus.
God be with you

This is going to be one of those rare cases where I don't quote scripture in my answer...because I don't know of any scripture that answers the question one way or the other.
My personal belief is that we are not born with a knowledge of God per se but I do believe we may be born with certain...umm...I guess the word "feelings" might work.
I believe I was born with an inate desire to love people, cause no harm and to help people...things taught by Jesus. As long as I can remember I've been this way. I've talked to my mother about this and she told me I was like this all my life. Since before I could walk or talk, apparently I've had an inherent desire to help people, been a friendly, loving person, never hurt another child (on purpose at least) and have been deeply sorry if I hurt someone accidentally.
I believe these attributed were instilled in me from birth by God.
This, of course, does not mean that I was born with any knowledge of God.
An interesting experiment would be the hypothetical "boy raised by wolves" scenerio. What kind of answers would he give when asked "where did the plants and animals come from" or "what do you think happens when you die"?
It would also be interesting to see how he interacts with others or interacted with nature before encountering mankind.
I believe the attributes shown by a child may be a foreshadowing of his later belief or disbelief in God. Of course, the environment the child is raised in would have a big influence on his beliefs in later life as well.

Since children are a direct GIFT from GOD, Infants are born with the knowledge of God as most animals are born with instinct. Today's society trains them differently. Society teaches that people should learn from schools and others not necessarily from home as most kids learn first at home. If we were to bring Christ and prayer back into schools the world would be better off. Think about it. Before the belief in GOD was removed from schools we did not have the violence that we now have in today's world.

there's a difference between info and info. the only absolute info may be the presence of God himself. smart info is a distinctive count. I in basic terms grow to be given a e book approximately Anthony Flew referred to as there's a God. Subtitle How the international's maximum infamous atheist replaced his ideas. i've got not examine a lot of it yet yet I understand he observed the Socratic approach of following the info everywhere it lead. It grow to be the positive tuning of the Universe and the complexity of the cellular that have been instrumental in convincing him. i do no longer think of he's a Christian yet he does have confidence that there are some distance too many precise basic constants which if altered even somewhat might have made existence or maybe the Universe impossible. I do think of a few people mistakenly use the words info and info interchangeably.

You can't be born with the knowledge of anything. You're born with instincts, but not knowledge because knowledge is something you have to learn. People who say that don't know what they're talking about!

It is instinctive knowledge, not learned.
The knowledge has been acquired from the Tree Of Knowledge of Good and Evil, mentioned in Genesis 2:17
and Genesis 3:22,23.

I don't think that we are. But there can be no doubt that God is a God of revelation (and I don't mean the "Book of") Through nature, the heavens, the earth...he makes His glory known.
Listen to St. Paul, who said it much better than I can:
"For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:..."

Religious people will make that claim. All non-religious people will claim otherwise. If a baby never hears the word "god" and is completely isolated from any sign of religion, you can be sure that will know nothing about god.

Like anything about God there is no proof and only belief, my belief is we all possess infinite knowledge that as we progress through life we remember from time to time.
