Absolutely, there are two forces at work in the universe, good and evil, if you don't believe in God, there is only one other choice. The bible says the devil was a liar and a murderer from the beginning. It sad to think about how many people in the world today are dying and don't or won't accept the truth. May God have Mercy!!!

And how 'bout a show of hands how close-minded people are? 'cause Atheism is NOT the work of the devil, that's like saying someone of another religion is the work of the devil? So, does that mean Islam is the work of the devil, or Shinto? No, it's just another set of beliefs in a higher power (or lack thereof) so open your minds people...don't be a close minded fool, that's the real work of the devil.

Well... judging from the majority of these answers, I am sure that ancient Greek philosopher, Moronicus, would have been gratified to know how faithfully his intellectual legacy has carried on, all these many centuries.
Does it strike anyone else as vaguely amusing, that people who believe that a cosmic Jewish zombie, who is his own father, can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him that you accept him as your master so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced to eat from a magical tree by an infinitely sadistic being, disguised as a talking snake with legs... (etc.)... think that there is something wrong with those of us who CAN'T manage to delude ourselves into believing such droolingly stupid nonsense?
"When one person suffers from a delusion, it is called insanity. When many people suffer from a delusion it is called Religion." ~ Robert M. Pirsig

I am ambivalent on the matter.
Part of me says yes. Another aspect of my existence doesn't view the agnostic or atheist as 'evil.'
I have too many friends who don't share my religious perspective to make it an issue.
Just because you have another belief system -- or total lack thereof -- which is not the same as mine doesn't make you any less valuable in my sphere of existence and orientation to the world in general.
I have to respect their wishes for their lives.

I'm not so sure if it's the work of the devil, or the work of overpowering Christians. Either way I hope that everyone finds what they are wanting to find in the end of it all!

The greatest trick the devil can pull on someone is to make them believe he doesn't exist.

Why would you lump agnostics in with the atheists? They simply aren't sure... give them some credit at least for considering whether or not god (yours or otherwise) exists.
As for us atheists.. well.. We'll see you in hell, too... My understanding is that judgement is reserved for god only.
