There are a bunch of buddhists on here, they usually dont advertise their religion like most people. Also buddhists tend to be very smart and spend time trying to "enlighten" themselves which is good, always good to be enlightened. When the buddhist people make an answer on here it tends to be well thought out and intelligent. and besides, Buddhists are cool, im sure they got other things to do besides be on here listening to abunch of people talking about Jesus things.

Can't call myself Buddhist, married into a family of Buddhists though. Definately one of my favorite religions.

I studied Buddhism for 8 years and called myself Buddhist. I still feel a kinship to Buddhism.

In India ,the emporer ASHOKA promoted Buddhism during the 3rd century BC,but it declined in succeeding centuries and was nearly exticnt there by the 13yh century .It spread south and flourished in SriLanka and Southeast Asia,as well as moving through Central Asia and Tibet,to China ,Korea and Japan .Today the various traditions of together have about 400 million followers .
