I met him through myspace and we have met and I realy truely like him even before meeting him, but it appears and smells as though he doesnt brush his teeth. He is 35 years old and should know he needs to do this but doesnt, how do I comfortably for both of us tell him he needs to do this. I have though about just buying him a tooth brush for my house...HELP!!!

Buying him a toothbrush for your house is a great idea. Just buy it, and tell him you bought it. Hopefully that helps. If not, then you have to be honest. Try to tell him nicely without hurting his feelings, of course. But yea, if he doesn't brush his teeth, that is pretty gross, and no one wants to kiss a dirty mouth.

Tell him no kiss or other close physical contact/proximity until he does something about his dragon breath. Once he realizes that you do not find his breath sexy, he should get the point. Do take into account that many people with bad breath have no idea that it stinks as bad as it does, kind of like body odor(they don't notice it because they're around it all the time). In addition to brushing my teeth, I have found that a tongue scraper and an antiseptic mouthwash help to complete the job- after all, your teeth aren't the only place in your mouth that bacteria hang out.

Man, that's rough. I had a boyfriend who I really, really liked, but his teeth were terrible. He brushed them and everything, but he needed major reconstruction and he had an obvious cavity right in his front tooth! It was like he was British or something!
I never did tell him what I thought, in the end I decided it wasn't important. If your boyfriends breath smells, though, it does matter. If you can stand to spend 24 hours with him, see if he does brush his teeth anytime during that period. If he doesn't say something like "I'm going to brush my teeth now! How about you?" and maybe he'll get the hint.

If his breath stinks than you know he doesn't brush very well. Tell him your going tooth brush shopping and ask him to join you. Buy a two pack and give him the other one.
If his teeth are just discolored than they could be stained. From cigarettes or what ever. Some people have permanent stains that come from certain medications they took as a child.

The best way to address this is to be straightforward (but respectful) about it.
"I know that you value honesty in a relationship, and so do I. That's why I feel it is important, though somewhat uncomfortable, to share this with you. I hope you would do the same for me.
You know, honey, I have noticed that there is an unpleasant odor coming from your mouth. I am concerned for your health, as I have read that these odors can be a sign of gum disease. Of course, it's also possible that a bit of extra brushing and some mouthwash are in order. What do you think? How can I best help you with this?"
Then let him handle it after that.
Men tend to be more robust to these sorts of things (don't take offense as easily as women).

Well, it's really easy. You bring it up that he has bad breath and that you would like him to brush his teeth more to help that. If you don't make it a big deal, but more about what you want, then it's not a personal reflection on him. And it assumes that he does, just doesn't do it enough.
Also, get a tongue scraper. That helps a lot.
And floss. Flossing is so important! Yes, it's likely they'll bleed for 3 months, but eventually it will stop and his gums will be so much healthier for it.

you need to be nice about it it can be a hard thing to say to someone your starting to feel for!
best way to do it is by stating how you feel there for it won't feel like your barking orders at him!

for the most part it is hard! Heck i was the one that didn't brush my teeth and my ex boyfriend told me about and if only he would of did it the way i showed you i wouldn't of felt so attacked! Yes it is my own laziness but i don't need it thrown in my face rudly

If he is spending the night there, then buy him a brush for your place may be a good sublte hint. If not, it may just be best to tell him. I suffer from some gum disease and even with lots of brushing, i get bad breath from time to time. I prefer people to just tell me, rather than let me walk around that way.

Just ask him if you can talk to him real quick and sit down with him and say that u think that he should brush his teeth more, or better. Maybe even you could brush your teeth with him and get him used to it? But just tell him, and just be honest. Good luck.

when you both get up and are ready to spend the day together brush your teeth and be like "did you brush your teeth yet?" before you leave. If he says no be like "Well c'mon I want to get the day started" take it from there.
Otherwise tell him.
