I had one of them pulled out when I was pregnant, with only Novicaine...The last three have been bothering the hell out of me! They've grown in and have decayed, quite a bit!

I have an appointment next week to get them pulled, with "laughing gas" and I'm scared as hell!!!!!!!!

Ive had laughing gas while I had a tooth pulled and it wasnt bad at all. The gas just makes you a little giddy at first and you have the giggles but after that you just feel VERY relaxed and kinda not in the moment...you wont even really know what is going on. Dont worry too much, you shouldnt have a problem!

Don't be scared, just get it done!
they pulled mine with just novacaine and it didn't hurt while they were pulling them, so the laughing gas will be even better, cause they are still gonna numb you with novacaine.
Everything will be fine, you will see. After you leave the office, force yourself to swallow down some soup or something so you will have food in your stomach, then take a pain pill which they will prescribe for you, then lay down and watch tv, and take it easy for a day or two. You will be much happier once those bad wisdom teeth are gone!!!!!!

I had my understanding teeth out, all 4 of them, and that they had to cut back via my gums for the backside ones. I had extensive swelling after the reality and bruising and it harm a lot. no longer for the time of the surgical technique a lot because of the fact they gave me injections, yet interior the days after. Getting a classic molar pulled must be some distance much less painful. The injections do no longer in all probability harm, it particularly is in actuality in easy terms somewhat pinch, you no longer often even sense it except you're waiting for it. Then after the injections bypass in, you will no longer sense discomfort while they pull the the teeth out. you will nonetheless sense rigidity, ie while the the teeth releases out of your gum, even though it won't harm in any respect. i'm not sure you will even choose painkillers or anti inflammatory drugs for the days after the extraction, yet while they prescribe them, then take them as prescribed. you would be positive, you're in stable palms i'm confident. it incredibly is an exceedingly ordinary technique for dentists, and that they quite a lot comprehend what they are doing. wish I helped, take care.

I just got mine pulled out on monday with laughing gas. they give it to you and feel al tingly but in a kool way! it doesnt hurt at all while its happening because you are totally out. afterwards you will be a little out of it.
i am only 15 so i was soo freaked out about it. its hurts a litle afterwards but just take some pain killers. My best advice: Dont freak out! its not as bad as it seems.

With laughing gas, you will be aware of them working in your mouth, but you won't care in the least. It should be a fairly relaxing procedure for you!

I know you're anxious, but try not to be scared; fear can actually cause you to feel pain you would not otherwise feel. Relax, concentrate on your breathing, and you'll be fine!

dont be scared.....i just had 4 teeth pulled yesterday with laughing gas so i can get ready for braces.....they gave me that and numbed the gums and i didnt feel a thing! all you feel is the dentist pulling on your teeth but you wont feel any pain, you wont even know its out til he tells you! even after the gas and the numbing stuff wore off my mouth still doesnt hurt, its just awkward. so dont be scared it wont hurt.

I have never 'laughed' while under laughing gas, I was knocked out! I didn't have a single problem with my surgery, it was after, when I developed dry sockets!

There is nothing to be scared of. You will simply feel silly. That is why they call it laughing gas. You will feel less pain then with the Novocaine.

Laughing gas will be funny! Not really. It does feel good, and is better than just Novacaine.

I had mine pulled like that and I wasn't aware of a thing....

They didn't even hurt THAT bad afterwards...at least, not after a couple Percocets.
