I cannot seem to get a job. Every job I've applied for (and I have applied for MANY!) has rejected me. I graduated from college almost 7 months ago, and I'm still out of work. I pray everyday, asking God to open the door for me, but it remains locked.
So, have u ever gotten mad with God because your prayers seem to go unanswered? Is this right or wrong? Thank you!!

Its okay to be mad with G-d, but I don't think he is the reason you can't get a job. I know what its like not able to get a job I am going on 3 years of being unemployed, and I graduate next year so I have no idea how to pay my school loans back! Well anyway I think you may want to try to relocate, or go back to school work on your MA or PhD. (if you already don't have it) Or go to a temp agency, a lot of people get jobs through there, of course you want something in your field but this will help pay the bills.
No I have never gotten mad with G-d because my prayers went unanswered, I really don't ask him for much. But I will pray for you, and good luck with finding a job. It isn't as easy as some people think.

Beautiful young person, I'm sure that you've consulted with job counselors, and the like. Many, many people have traveled the same road. When I first escaped from the racist South, to New York where I trained as an actor, a year passed before an over-friendly casting director cast me. That's a long time to be eating noodles. Pray if you are religious; I am not. But I honestly can't think why you would be angry with your god, or any god. Are you in the USA? It's difficult here for a woman of color to break through the white male barriers, and until we get our country back from the right-wing wacko crowd, I doubt that it'll get easier. Meanwhile, volunteer, make yourself known at a large non-profit (which hires staff), show 'em how doggoned talented you how. Be cheerful, ever cheerful. Who knows, the head cat there may know a head cat at a corporation, say, who's looking for a young woman with your verve, loyalty, and willingness to work like the dickens. Good look, dear heart, good luck!

it is perfectly fine to get mad with God, the problem with it is, however that you are ice skating uphill. There is a reason for everything in your life, but you have to accept that. Look at it this way. Life has a certain flow and if you fight it you will drown. follow the flow and you will find what you are really looking for.
Maybe you are asking for the wrong jobs, the wrong doors to be open. Just sit back and say, "OK, God. whatever you want for me, let me find it. I am open to your will, not mine." and then mean it. Don't worry about the job that paid 20$ an hour that got away. be glad you have the 10$ an hour job and more time for church and family.
Relax and float with your life and things will work out.

To answer directly - yes. Only one man in the Bible was referred to as "a man after God's own heart." That was Kng David. He was probably the most emotional man in the Bible too. He'd love God one minute, curse him the next. Do the greatest things in the name of the Lord and sin the worst. Yet God clearly exalted him above most of the rest who have ever walked this earth. So being angry with God is okay to a degree.

To answer indirectly: That being said I think many people confuse "God not answering thier prayers" with "God not acting like thier personal genie." I'm not saying you haven't worked hard, done the right things to find the right job for you, I don't know perhaos you have. I'm just saying there is often a lesson to be learned from our hard times, and we often look for God to wave a magic wand and do things for us when we need to continue to find the right path for ourselves. God never said he'd make everything okay for us. He actually promised we would face "trials and tribulation" in this world. That being said he "will never leave you, nor forsake you." God might not just hand you the job you want, but if yu continue to do the right things he won't let you down, and things will work out in the end, one way or another.

Not only is it wrong to get angry with God it's also dangerous.Enough of this sort of lack of control and you may find yourself giving up and giving in to Satan's temptations.
You say you keep asking but when do you start believing. Tell God you need a job then believe he is preparing one then it can come true.
How many jobs have you turned down or ignored because they didn't suit you. I know it's hard to go to school all those years just to be told your field is full.
Education should be a growth experience not then end to all means.
It's amazing how sometimes a meanial position leads to great things after a while.
Keep praying start believing and don't sit and wait for them to beat down your door just because you have proved you can sit in a class room. Victory is yours claim it in the name of Jesus . God Bless.

You must ask yourself this question. Do you truly walk with the Lord? Just because God isn't answering your prayers the way YOU WANT HIM TO, doesn't mean He isn't answering. Sometimes God is silent. Sometimes God has other plans for you. Is there something in your life that stands between you and God? Do you only pray when you WANT SOMETHING FOR YOURSELF? Do you praise Him daily? Do you praise Him in times of trouble?
Read the Psalms. Do you stay in His Word? Do you live your life for Him? These are all questions to ask yourself. Are you truly seeking Him in everything you do? Sometimes life doesn't make sense to us, but everything works out for the good of those who love Him.

Well how would you feel if the only time someone ever talked to you, was when they wanted something ? would you get tired of listening ? or even answering ? you have to talk to God daily, about Everything. not just the things you need, but because you want a closer relationship with him, everything else you need or want will come after

Matthew 6:33
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Hope this helps ♥

Getting angry with God isn't the real question because God is not suppose to give us everything we want. God gives us everything that we need. God always answers prayers but sometimes the answer is "no". God is not the blame for you not getting a job. Your problem lies elsewhere.

God will do things in his time not ours. May be a job has been put forwards to you, but probably it wasn't what you wanted you knocked it back. Some times we have to take what's handed to us, then that job might have lead to what we really want to do. But God might have other plans for you so keep praying and I'm sure your prays will be answered.
