I have been being accused of being a troll by David B. My response was deleted by Yahoo. I am not a troll. Yahoo has people that drop characters in and monitor the troll activity. I am not a troll I promise you. Read about Yahoo's "background efforts" to control abuse. Some of the people that are being accuse of being trolls are people that work there that monitor the abuse.

Also if Yahoo can't do any better than this about managing their abuse then I don't want any part of their forum. This Yahoo Answers is the biggest joke on the Internet. I mean they drop characters in to keep things going and then they mail you an abuse response. God this is a joke.

Thanks but Yahoo could have had the decency to at least read and investigate the issue before they issued a violation. I reported David B. and the troll but they seem to be interested in me which makes this site more of a joke. I mean be for real. They should just take away the ability to answer questions and let the people in the office just answer everyone's questions. I.ve asked them to contact me and they haven't. What should I think about the answers forum?

The environment that has been created here for the trolls has been created by Yahoo. Where they go wrong is they let you edit too much. It's a playground for people to come in and act like they want.
What they should do to get rid of the trolls is make it to where you get 1 chance at asking a question. You shouldn't be able to edit your questions or edit your profile's name or avtar. That way the trolls don't have a place to play. One chance at a question and one chance at and answer. After that then it's unchangeable. The troll that answered in David B.'s question yesterday used two accounts. Then he came back and changed his name and photo to the remarks so nobody would catch on. See? That is why Yahoo Answers is a joke. They make it where people can do this.

Yahoo also why can't you make your website to where you have to have Yahoo Messenger running on your computer in order to log in to Yahoo Answers? And if you logged out of Yahoo Messenger then it logged you out of Yahoo Answers also. You could make the Yahoo Messenger sofware to where it read information from your computers bios or motherboard and that way it could keep up with computers behind firewalls.

Seems to me that someone who tries to spread lies about other users would be abuse Yahoo. The person could have reported it and left everyone else out of it.

Also Rainbw hasn't said anything negative about me being a troll. On the other hand you formed a union and started naming people off. If you ask me I would say you are the troll and at least I am not saying that behind your back. So go and eat your words. I'm not looking for and explination. I don't have to even exist on here. Better yet you should have left well enough alone that you didn't come back here a stir up even more. The troll doesn't bother me. He's a lot smarter than you for running behind someone's back and starting rumors.

This forum format will never be perfect. There will ALWAYS be trolls. People that don't have ulterior motives should welcome the IDs that yahoo creates to monitor things. If you hate it so bad I understand but there are some very real race fans here that are fun to chat with. It sounds like you are dwelling more on what people are saying about you than what you are interested in talking about. I ignore all the troll talk and to be honest, it's usually the trolls that like to bring attention to themselves with questions like this. Whether you are or aren't one doesn't concern me, I would just like to get the questions back on topic here. This is the NASCAR forum last time I checked.

I am sorry that you were accused of being a troll. The way you are feeling about Yahoo answeres and David B are understandable. Everyone has been saying to ignore questions that we don't like and not answer them. If David B didn't like what you said then he should have ignored it! Yahoo answeres is a joke when it comes to this. They just do what the reporter wants and thats it. They do not investigate at all!!!!
I had some problems with the REAL trolls at one time, and all my nascar friends on the forum said don't let them get to you, don't let them win! Stay in the forum and have fun!!!
You know your not a troll and not everyone thinks you are so just ignore the rest!

The trolls are rampant in Polls & Surveys, which is the main category I participate. It seems that every move Yahoo makes, the trolls step around it and continue. I don't know this David B, but two weeks ago I was answering questions in Nascar and a user named Mike blocked me as well as several other answerers I guess because he did not agree with our answers. One of the other answerers said Mike was a troll and uses many different IDs.

Well... my question is... yesterday you were complaining about David B blocking you, but then you went on saying stuff about his profile. If you were blocked how did you look at his profile unless you use more than one account? The trolls do that. Answer their own questions and such. I've never seem him asking rude questions or giving rude answers. I DO know he gave me a really good address to use to report the trolls because it works. Besides, that green-haired moron has more identities than anybody could ever keep track of. He in here now under that rainbow warrior name. I can understand him thinking you might be him.

Obviously me staying away from here for 2 days wasn't long enough. I guess I'm gonna go back to doing my school work and playing with my daughter and forget all about this place. This place isn't a NASCAR Answers Section, it's DRAMA section. It gets worse in here as the days go by.

I know what you are saying....this place is the biggest joke on the net. The only reason I am here is to piss off the gordon fans. I used to come on here to try to give some of my accumulated knowlege back to the racing community, but with all of the gordon fans out there that think he is God, and NO ONE ELSE should EVER win a race, ANYWHERE, I have made it my sole purpose to piss all of them off, seeing's how Yahoo can not monitor their own site.
