Why do women blame men for there lack of confidence?

I just read a some comments from women talking about men affecting there self esteem and confidence. I just do not understand how someone can have that kind of effect on an adult. A child yes, but an adult that should have by now learn to love themeselves no matter what. and it might not be the men it just might be the type of men that you women choose. You women pass over the not so good looking men for the men that are good looking and are going to dog you all out.

I think you are correct in saying it is the type of men these women choose. These women who blame all men for their lack of self confidence and poor self esteem didn't have a good view of themselves before they meet these men. To rely on a man to bring up your self worth and improve your self esteem is a big mistake. We don't have control of what others say to us, but we DO have control of our reaction in how they make us feel. Great question! =)

I assume your talking about women that have been verbally abused? You have no idea what a situation like that can do someone of any age. And do agree that it is the type of men that the women are with, however not all good looking men are going to treat a woman wrong. Confidence does come from within ones self and a man can not give it to you. But living in unbearable situations most certainly can change the way you see yourself. Most of these women are cut off from all family and friends by the men that control them.

some men play mind games and thats what does a number on someone. Soem men also act interested, they do everything they can to keep the girl on the line until they are done and just cut them off knowing the women has feelings and is attached. Some women do this to men. Men also say that women give them confidence problems.....dating has become a game and no ones feelings are accounted for....that would give any person a complex.

First off not every good looking person is going to do you over. If you are a respectful and loyal person your looks take no credit for it.

Its all about being rejected by the person that you like. That and the fact that men do insensative things. Women like to feel and be treated like they're it for you. If i go out with you and your staring at some chic at another table, it sends messages like ok she's good but that over there is better.

No one wants to be replaced.

women are affected by men only if they have low self-esteem to begin with. if a woman is confidant.. itz not gonna matter what a man says or does to you. some women just have underlying insecurities and they allow themselves to be vulnerable so men bring it out of them.

some people and it's not just women like to be the Victim. and there's nothing wrong with it if you like to be weak. It's the blame game thing. ''it's your fault I am the way I am'' I think its bull crap. Own up to it. take responsibility for your actions. I don't blame others for my problems. I'm a happy healthy lady.
