Basically I went through a bad time recently and gained about 2 stones in about 7 weeks through comfort eating.
I am now feeling better and getting on top of things and have started to eat more reasonably and re-stared exercising.
My question is, is it possible to lose the weight that I gained in the same amount of time, ie, could I lose 2 stones in 7 weeks?

The weight loss process typically takes considerably longer than the weight gain process.

Slow and steady wins the race.

Develop a program and stick to it. Moderate calorie reduction coupled with moderate exercise will get the job done.

nope, sorry, it generally takes 2 to 3 times as long to lose the weight as it did to gain it.

i dont know what a "stone" is. but yeah if you try, it depends on how much weight that is. i gained almost 12 pounds in a month and i dont think i could lose it in a month, but we'll see!
