Spanx are pretty good - Google it for places to buy.
Also, ask your seamstress or salon for recommendations. Maybe they have samples that you can try on with the gown. Or go to Target or a department store, buy a few different things and try them on with the gown to see what works.
And remember to wear this undergarment(s) when you go for your fittings ... it can alter the way your gown fits you. If you don't wear Spanx to the fittings but you wear it to your wedding, for example, it can cause your gown to be a bit big, and it could slide around or even fall off.

go to ebay.com. Then look for a store called "The Cheeky Store". They have bridal corsets that are beautiful and in every size. They have a molded cup bust and smooth front with some boning on sides and back. They are only $19.99 which is a steal. I bought a waist cincher from them and it is fabulous. You wear your own bra and this just cinches your waistline over two inches. Fabulous. They have bras, girdles, sexy bra and pantie outfits, shoes etc. Take a look, it will be worth it.

Save the really good stuff for the first night of the honeymoon-you are going to want to be as comfortable as possible under there-because you are going to overheated, and uncomfortable in the dress, and the garter is going to be annoying (doesn't matter how soft the silk is, it's going to be annoying squeezing your thigh for that many hours). I wore the simple corset that you get from David's bridal and the petticoat skirt, and a really comfy pair of underwear and my garter. If you are looking for something incredible for the honeymoon, try la perla, or fig leaves, or victoria's secret.

A lot of it will depend on your dress. Ask the bridal shop where you bought it for recommendations. There are TONS of shaping pieces available now that don't add bulk and just smooth everything & hold it all in for you. They can even help thin girls who are self conscious about a few extra bulges or dimples.

Try corsettes from Fredericks of Hollywood. They push everything you want pushed in and push up your boobs. However, they are not very comfy but do make you look 5 lbs skinnier.

almost any department store will sell them in the underwear section. or a lingerie store, but it might be really expensive there. you can also order them online, but you cant try it on to be sure it fits that way.
