Everybody WILL bow and confess Jesus is Lord. This is going to happen. Even the most agnostic and athesist poster on Yahoo. You can either do it in this life for salvation or at Judgement when all you have to look forward to is an eternity in darkness, torment and despair. The question to you is which will it be? I expect to get a lot of smart aleck answers, but remember you will be against the power that presently holds the entire universe together. You are insignificant against even the smallest portion of that. So I am asking you to ask yourself this question seriously.

To Unity - The grace, forgiveness and love of God are now. It is not hard hearted to tell you the truth. Look at it this way, if you had sacrificed your only son and they mocked, ridiculed and rejected him until they came face to face with the punishment for their sins, would you owe them anything else?

Honestly who do you think you are?

Do you think that your hard heart and ways of fear are going to win you points to get you into heaven or have an awesome relationship with God?

Where is Christ's love? Where is Christ's forgiveness? Where is God in your heart?

----------------

In response, you are looking at the idea of forgiveness and unconditional love from a human perspective not from a divine perspective. When you look at what God has done from a human perspective, there is no possible way to truly understand the depths that unconditional love and forgiveness can go for God. To me, that limits God and puts him back into the bounds of humanity rather than divinity. Why limit God because you cannot understand how to love like God?

You can bow and confess all you want to but if you do not hold love in your heart and compassion and mercy for others, what good will it do you? Bowing out of fear of going to hell or other reasons beyond love is not really offering your heart in surrender to God.

What will you do when you stand before Zeus, Odin, Yu Ti, Ma Lo Wong, Brahma, Allah, Marduk, Amon, Ra, Ahuramazda, the Flying Spaghetti Monster, Asshur, Baal, etc.? Well, I'll do the same thing before Jesus that you do before these gods. Oh, did you say these deities are not real? Well, they are just as real as your deities! I am not the type to bow before anyone. I kick butts, not kiss them.

Tell me, when you stand before Anubis and he reaches into your very being and rips out your heart, and takes it and the Feather of Ma'at to the scale before Ammit, will you be able to recite the 42 Denials?

If not, doesn't it terrify you to know that your heart will be devoured by Ammit?

And if not... why do you think I should care about your religion either?
