Long story short, I have a new job/boss (same company). But, because I've needed to train my replacement for my old role, I'm still somewhat "managed" by my old bosses. Though the process has taken longer than I've wanted and thought it would, I've been totally cool, patient, pleasant to work with, etc. I mean, I've gone above and beyond to make sure they are taken care of, for when I officially move into my new role... So, here's my dilemma. They haven't been very nice to me, at all, since I've put in my notice. Off/on they've walked all over me. I honestly feel like they don't want me to leave on a good note or something, because the way they treat me is totally different then before, and for no reason. Most recently, one of them, tried to make me look bad in front of my new boss. Again, for something I didn't say nor do. I guess I just REALLY need advice on how to handle this difficult boss/situation, so I don't leave a poor impression on my new boss.

Document Document Document.

You don't describe what "walk all over you" means - that you get stuck with the undesirable jobs, impossible deadlines, vague instructions?

Still, you wouldn't have gotten the job if she didn't think you were the best qualified for the job.

That said, document all the abuse your s-t-b Ex bosses are heaping on you. If, for example, they ridicule your work in front of your new boss, write it down.

Just keep this file private, please. Not on company computers.

Then, be sure to meet with your new boss and go over your new duties, etc. Leave the ex bosses out of this for now. Believe me, she knows what toads those guys are already. IF and only IF SHE brings up the subject, then discuss it briefly and as positively as possible. Don't bad-mouth anyone. Just mention how sad their it was that their behavior showed a side of them and that department you had no idea existed.

Again, she can see right through these toads. But keep your documentation handy just in case - toads have a habit of turning up at inopportune places.

First off is your boss a woman? If so they are very difficult especially since they know you are leaving. I could never work for a woman and I am a woman. You have to keep your cool and put up with it until you leave this way there is no reason anything should be said. Let's face it in a nutshell they don't want you to leave so they are taking it out on you. Be above that nonsense and leave there with respect and decency.

Finish up any work at your old job quickly - leave your number if the new person has questions. Then get out of there and get on with your new job - your old boss can take on teh repsonsibility of the new person on their own if they are not going to treat you with respect. Once you are gone I bet they will move on.
