You are looking at what we call "crusher bait". This means that the vehicle only has real value as scrap metal. You may be able to find someone in your area that will tow it away for you for free, and you might be able to get $25-50 cash for it from them! Look in the paper for ads that say "junk cars towed free-cash paid for some", or call some local junkyards to see if they can help you.

You may be able to donate the car to a charity, and get a tax deduction. Some charities will accept non running vehicles, some will not! Your local fire department might be willing to come and get it as a donation to be used in vehicle accident training.

Good luck

I'm going to go with what someone else stated if the body is good somebody will want it and pay for it.The dakota's are easy to stuff big v8's into and there are conversion kits readily available.Take a look around your local area for what people are paying for project vehicles and price it accordingly.

Well this is a great candidate for a V8 sawp.

Some Dakotas came with a V8 installed, but someone may want to shove in a 383, or even a 426 hemi.

Try an ad in local news paper.

10 years old, blown motor. Not worth much if anything. Got a car crusher around? Maybe the local tow company would pick it up and take it there and not charge you anything. Worth a phone call to see.

I think it would cost you more to fix it than it would for you to sell it. And nobody is going to buy a car that doesn't run. I think the most optimal solution would be to give it away to a church or organization and then you can write it off in your taxes as a donation.

Maybe you could advertise it for sale as an electric truck
project, the model is ideal, and what a builder wants is a chassis without an engine.

if you sell a truck you dont own then that is theft...GRAND theft to be exact...if you cant pay for it then turn it in...or get caught and face the music and ruin your credit as well
