1. You're a Chri- stain? Do you need some soap to get the stain out of your Chri?
2. Most religions are based in part on the ones that came before. According to the Bible, the shepherds tending their flock would put Jesus' birth in August. Celtic Druids worshipped the winter solstice, and since the church couldn't stop this, they changed it to a Christian holiday: same with Easter, same with Romans taking over the Greek gods. Take some religious studies.
3. You don't say what gives you doubts. Perhaps you should be speaking with your pastor.

The idea that these books that just turn up almost two thousand years later without anything telling me that this was made before the twentieth century is wrong. These are as much proof of the stories as the crop circles were of ufos. Don't let these people tell you that christianity is wrong. Stay strong. in 60 years when we die we will see that we did not suffer and fight for what we beleived in in vain.

It is easy to watch documentaries and be convinced of the opinions and theories presented. The problem is that they are only presenting opinions and theories and they make them sound like facts.
As a Christian I think you should search your heart for what you know to be true. Sincerely pray that God will give you a sign of his presence.
God bless!

Give me a break! If that senseless drivel makes you question your faith you need to get into the bible and start studying more. The world is not your Friend because you believe in Christ, so what is going to come from the world that is going to bolster your faith? The answer is nothing. If you are a Christian than pray to God that he puts your heart and mind at ease, and know this, I watched the video and it has nothing to provide you but excuses to live your life as you please rather than God directs. Live for Christ brother, not for the world.

There's a lot of fraud there, but I'll try to help. There is nothing in the new testament that suggests Jesus was a disciple of John.
.....But John tried to talk him out of it. “I am the one who needs to be baptized by you,” he said, “so why are you coming to me?”....
Matthew 3:14
Worship of mother Mary has always been idoltary. There is nothing in the bible to suggest that we should worship Mary or pray to anyone other than god. I'm not going to win any friends for saying this but it is a Catholic abomination.
I will have to look into the Nag Hammadi, but from the apocrypha I've read it looks like rubbish.
Consider this: if I write a new book and say it was the testament of John, is it the testament of John? Of course not. The idea is Silly. Whats to stop someone doing the same thing 2000 years ago. People like to make hoax religions, look at the Scientologists and the photos of the Loch Ness Monster.
Whilst it is possible that the Catholic church destroyed geniune accounts, consider the amount of records of the gospels compared to the amount of records of the apocrypha. I'm sure their are people today that genuinely believe and are taking record that George Bush is an Illumanti Lizard Man in a human body.
Hope this helps.

Pray to God, ask what is the truth, He will tell you and He alone is the only one who knows which person, John or Jesus, was His true prophet...
I personally still believe Jesus is the Messiah, so what if He was baptised by John the baptist? You can't baptise yourself...can you?
Anyway, weren't John and Jesus cousins? I thought I heard that somewhere...maybe it wasn't John the baptist, but perhaps another John in the bible.

If you want to increase your faith get into the word of God. Faith comes by hearing the word of God (Romans 10:17). By looking into sources that cast doubts into the word of God would not help you to grow in faith. To grow in faith , learn God's word from anointed teachers, pray to and worship God regularly, attend and serve in church regularly, take Holy Comunion regularly and most importantly get to know the Holy Spirit who lives inside you intimately who will guide you into all truth. Look unto Jesus all the time as the author and finisher of your faith.

You should follow God and not mere man. Do not be conceived by things of this world. In the end, it will be you alone that stands before God. Every tongue will confess that He is God, even the people that disbelieved while on earth and each of us will account for what our life on earth stood for as we stand before our Creator.

The bad news is that you are right to have doubts. God given or otherwise, you have a brain and you are using it. This is the tip of the iceberg and there are many many more reasons to have doubts.
The good news is that there is no hell and you can relax.
