im filipino and have a really tan complexion but i have whits spots on my arm that dont tan.

I have the same thing on my back. my doctor said its just a lack of pigmentation in that area nothing to worry about.

Without actually seeing these "spots." It could easily be Tinea Versicolor -- a slow growing fungal infection, of the same basic family as "athlete's foot." Go, see your doctor. Have him/her take a small scrapping and look at it under a microscope using a KOH prep. If it comes out looking like Spaghetti and meatballs, you have it. It's relatively easy to cure. Usually a one or two time dosage of Ketoconozole will do the job nicely. But go and see your doctor. Let them take a look at it.

i'm getting this often times. i've got have been given olive pores and skin. the white spots are in elementary terms a loss of pigmentation and could come and pass. in addition they'll seem a splash dryer that the encircling pores and skin. Vitaligo is yet another reason yet neither are extreme.

I can't remember what it's called, but they are just patches of skin that don't have any pigment, so they can't tan. I know some people who grow out of it, but others don't. There's nothing wrong or dangerous about it.

I have i to but I don't know what it's called. I use a tanning lotion to fill in those spots.

if you're taking birth control pills that could cause it
