By enjoying God's blessings not by the works of the law but by grace by resting and believing in the finished work of our Lord Jesus Christ and speaking it out:

2 Cor 4:13 But since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, “I believed and therefore I spoke,” we believe and therefore speak.

Heb 4:3 For we who believed do enter into that rest, as He has said: ‘So I swore in my wrath, They shall not enter my rest,’ although the works were finished from the foundations of the world.

Heb 4:9-11 There remains therefore a rest for the people of God. For he who has entered His rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from His. Let us therefore be diligent to enter the rest, lest anyone fall after the same example of disobedience.

By taking the yoke of Jesus and not others upon yourself:

Matt 11:28,29 Come to Me, all you who are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

I'm not sure. Which bits of god are missing? Hard to know how to enjoy the rest of him if I don't know what bits are gone.

Moment by moment. Resting means to me "be silent, still." There's no better way to rest than to trust and give all things to the Lord.
