No, I think most of us have pretty much proved that we're selfish and greedy assholes.

I really wanted to come back with some smart-alecky cute reply for this but it did not "feel" right.
The Jesus part has no bearing in my mind on whether humanity is worth saving.
IF there was something that humanity needed saving from, I would still have to give an overall resounding yes.
Although there are many people who are D**ks in the world and most of us have become very self-centered, I still see that there is good in most everyone.
Some people you have to look a little deeper to see it.
If some great catastrophe should ever occur I sincerely believe that more than one "ARK" will be floating around & it will not just be "religious people" manning the boats

Good morning Deke.....Let me answer your question with another question....Did God feel that humanity was worth saving during Noah's time?...hmmm? Apparently not considering God had Noah build the Arc for his family and the different species of animals he had to gather. And I imagine that when the "Great Flood" took place that humanity at this time wasn't as bad as it is today. You can't even compare the two era's. But yet God placed His wrath on humanity. Look what God did to Ramses's and the people of Egypt. Did he save humanity then? I would pray and hope that Jesus would feel that humanity is worth saving but realistically speaking....Only God knows that answer...Have a blessed day!

No. Humanity was doomed from the beginning. However, Jesus loves. He loves to an irresponsible point. Recall that He saved the man being killed who sinned and could do no more deeds except say a few words to defend Him. Jesus also rejected the religious scholars and law makers.

There is no arguement that Jesus will come back to this earth again, because he will, & yes Humanity is worth saving, that is Jesus Christ sole purpose. But they will be saved before he comes back or they will miss out on eternal life.

Yes, God wouldn't of made us and the world if it wasn't worth it. Jesus wouldn't of paid the price for our sins by dying on the cross for the remission of our sin for all that choose Him and repented. He knew ahead of time how bad it would get when people would choose not to follow Him. He said he would be willing to come back if only one person was His. God thinks we are worth it, he says we are made in God's image, that is surely worth saving.

Given the Christian framework of the question, the answer is of course....Jesus Himself already showed us that humanity is worth saving. He showed us when He became Emanuel.
