I have regular military issue blousers with hooks, i just don't get how to put them on.

I agree with the first person, only I would put the blouser around your boot that way you don't see your socks.

There are a lot of ways to do it, the easiest is to have your pants down around your ankles, put the blousers on,tuck the pants and then pull up your pants and adjust the cuff.. Also dependiing on if your in dress military, you can take a coffee can, cut about a 2 inch strip, wrap it in tape.. put it around your leg and drop it into your pants .... this keeps a real tight blouse look... hope this makes sense.

Put your fatigue pants on. Put your boots on. Put the blouser around your leg, just above the boot. Fold the bottom edges of your pants under, towards the boots and up until you can fit them under the blousing rubbers.

The regs tell you how. I preferred them tucked in. Didn't care for the rubber band, and having them ride up my leg. For sharper appearance use 2-3" cardboard rolled around loose on your leg and duck tape.
