For the most part I agree with you. I disagree with the statement "to me, I am right," because you could be wrong. For example, you could think the world is flat, but just because to you the world was flat wouldn't mean it WAS flat. If you are wrong, then wouldn't you want to correct yourself so you don't look like a fool?
But I am not saying you are wrong. You may well be right. Personally, I think that most religions are right. Why couldn't our creator, who obviously created a very diverse population, create diverse means of assessing him/her? We are all different and have different needs. There is nothing wrong with being different.
So I agree with you that everyone has a right to their opinion, but doesn't that also apply to people who disagree with you? This is a forum where people ask questions, and others answer them. Often it is a matter of opinion, and people will disagree. If someone strongly disagrees with you, though, then they have a right to express that opinion, too. You are basically saying here that YOU have a right to your opinion, but those who disagree with you do not. If you really feel that way, your simply in the wrong place.
Ok. Maybe I am being nit-picky and that is not what you mean. I suspect what you are referring to are the people who are jerks about it; the ones that come on here and tell you that you are stupid or going to hell or other such nonsense. Many of them don't have any proof that they are right, as you say, and they expect you to somehow drop your beliefs just because they say so. Yes. They are close-minded. But think of it this way: if they really believe you will go to hell, right or wrong, would it not be wrong of them to not tell you so in order to protect you? Some of these people are just jerks that are trying to make themselves look good, but some of them really believe they are helping. Doesn't make them right, but sometimes you have to look at their intentions.
In the end, however, I think it basically comes down to this: if you do not want people to disagree with you or to insult you, then Y!A simply isn't the place for you. Maybe a Wicca website would be more appropriate. Or you could just ignore them, which is what I choose to do. There are a lot of jerks on here, and that is just a fact of life. They are not really even worth getting upset at. I feel sorry for people that are close-minded, ignorant, and self-serving. I am glad there are people like you on here that do not appear to be such.

Evidently what everyone believes is the business of those who condemn and/or try to convert. Apparently those who think another's beliefs are wrong are obligated to correct those beliefs, which I believe to be wrong. No one has the right to tell another that their beliefs are wrong. Who is to say that their beliefs are wrong. They could be the real true belief and no one would ever know until they die and find out for themselves. I say keep believeing what you believe to be true in your heart, and don't take to heart those who want to put you down for those beliefs. They're just jealous that you have more faith than them ;)

I am a Wiccan too and I don't care what people say or think about my religion,If your happy you should feel the same way.We should all respect other peoples beliefs, but don't expect them to respect ours.Ours is a old religion that has almost been destroyed by the Christian church.I think if people learn more about our beliefs they would not be so afraid of it.Just think how beautiful the world would be if everyone believed the same way we do.
(Many blessings)

Unfortunately there aren't enough people in the world who feel and think like you do. I say, "to each their own, as long as you let me be!" Everyone has reasons for believing what they do and only tolerance can help create a more peaceful society. Do whatever feels good in your heart... some folks are just full of hate.

It shouldn't matter who we are, where we are from, or what our religious/spiritual beliefs are....live and let live. Too many people involve themselves in matters that do not concern them, just to inflict hatred and ill feeling towards others...these people need to look within themselves before turning their sights to the choices and words of others....its a sad sad world we live in indeed. All that matters is our hearts. Not one of us are any better than the next. Creator see's me the same as he see's the tree's....we are all the same.

There is just not enough tolerance in the world. People claim it, they just do not practice it.
As for myself, my foundation and my basic beliefs and practices are pretty firm. That does not mean I still do not have much to learn, it just means that i have an unshakable faith in my way of life and the choices I make on my journey.
As for the people who profess love and practice judgment. chaos, and hate.....Bless Them All
And you are right. What is right for me does not necessarily mean that it is right for you, or anyone else for that matter. But that does not make my beliefs any less valid, nor does it discount others and their beliefs.
We all have to find our own path...and that comes through seeking what is true for ourselves.
Blessed Be

You are right. That's where the christians went wrong. When they decided to persecute all others. Same thing happened to the muslims. Even buddhists have done it in the past. It all boils down to their own insecurity.
If they had true faith,
they wouldn't worry about it.

I love opinionated people, they are the only ones who can get things done. they may get the wrong things done. But I like doers, much better than I like complainers. There are victims and there are heroes in all groups. They thrive on each other.

"religious" is the word you're look for. talking about religious people "who push their religion on to others", is a bit like talking about wet water, I think it's called a redundancy.
