Great, Now the North Koreans, Iranians, Russians, Chinese, Alqueda, Drug Cartel and Mafia are tracking your IP and learning all about you, You should start by moving, changing your name or faking death would be better and pretending to be reborn, that way they might not track you....bad idea to start your career with this.

First you need to learn something about the disciplines of intelligence gathering and analysis. This takes a lot of study and at least one college degree. Several majors will support it, including journalism, history, political science, military science, etc.

Most intelligence gathering is overt--monitoring newspapers and news broadcasts, collecting statements, etc.

Covert intelligence gathering, which most people associate with spying, requires individuals who can keep a secret, who are excellent observers, and who can practice their trade unobserved.

Get your degrees, if you don't already have them, and you could see if the CIA has any openings. You could also join the Army, Navy or Air Force and receive military training in intelligence. With these skills it should be possible to find employment in the DIA or CIA.

I am assuming you are a citizen of the U.S. and want to spy for this country. Other countries might well have their own requirements, but the gathering and analysis of intelligence works pretty much the same all around the world.

Start by being a valedictorian of your high school. Then go to a prestigious university and major in criminal justice and graduate with a 4.0 GPA. During this time, joining the R.O.T.C. wouldn't be a bad idea so that you will have some military experience under your belt. Next, apply to the CIA and wait in line with the thousands of other applicants who are just like you, good luck.

Do not call us. We'll call you. Stand at the phone booth on 3rd Ave. and 129th St. in Manhattan at 2:37 am, July 15, holding a black briefcase and wearing a red carnation. Also wear a full clown suit and makeup. Do not bring anyone with you and be sure nobody follows you. Do not leave until the phone rings. When it rings, answer and say the password, which is in Chinese: "Ohwha tadi ckiam." Say it three times, quickly. You will receive further instructions at that time.

Learn it from the man who did the most damage ever, in American history: Robert Hanssen.

He read the memoirs of the British traitor who had spied for Moscow over a 20-year period, Kim Philby. The book was "My Silent War"

Well I wouldn't start by advertising on the internet that you wanna be a spy.

That pretty much says you'd suck as a spy.
