yes- there is evidence to that oatmeal bath and washes reduce inflammation- that is it will take the redness, heat and swelling from mossie bites, hence reducing itchiness...

What I use to get rid of the iching I use Benedryl stick and I put it on directly on the bite. The iching will go away within 1/2 hour and it helps. I hope this will help.

Yes.

Vinegar and alcohol also help, and recently someone on one of my gardening forums said that taping a penny for 15 minutes over the bite will help take the bite down. I never tried the penny thing, so I won't vouch for it.

I took an oatmeal bath when I had chicken pocks. So I am sure it will help.
