GOOD CHRISTIAN literally means GOOD HUMAN. One should possess good compassion, caring, humility, grace, brave, and so much more but each one at a higher degree than others. It takes a lot to make a good human being. It is good to be in the company of good people because they infest their ways towards you and you become Good Human and Good Christian-

Being a Christian supposedly means those who follow the teachings of Jesus the Christ. GOOD Christians--the definition depends on who does the talking. Fundamentalist Christians consider themselves "good" if they go to church every Sunday without fail, give money to their church and their church's mis-guided missionary efforts to convert others of different religions who DON'T believe as they do and never will, and they believe, erroneously, that they are "saved" by believing in Jesus the Christ erasing their "sins."
A truly good Christian is someone who actually follows the teachings of Jesus the Christ and helps others and observes the Golden Rule, regardless of whether or not the people they help believe as they do.

A real christian is who live a life like Christ. By following path of Christ one can become a Good Christian.

A Christian is someone who accepts Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior...one who believes that Jesus was born of the Holy Spirit by a virgin (Mary), lived a sinless life, was crucifed (to accept penalty, sacrifice for our sin), was buried and rose on the thrid day and ascended back into heaven some 40 days later and sits at the right had of God Our Father.
A good Christian is hard to find because we are all flawed...we all fall short of the glory of God.
But one who seeks to be "good" follows the teachings of Christ and seeks to emmulate Him in all areas of their life. They would learn more of Him and our God through study of the Word and their faith in Him does not need to be "shouted from the mountain tops", but will be evidenced in their life and will draw people to the light and life that shines within them.

Acts 2:42
Persevere (work hard to achieve, because there is an enemy trying to prevent it) in these four things;
1 - Doctrine - Read your bible daily.
2 - Fellowship - Spend time with other Christians. Some more mature than you to assist your growth, others less mature as you should be discipling them.
3 - Breaking of bread - The Lord's Supper - Sunday's are for remembering Him. Keep that day set apart for that reason, and daily remember Him as LORD.
4 - Prayers - Spend time in prayer with God. It develops you. It puts Satan and his demons on notice (only if you pray out loud - they are not omniscient).
This is what the bible tells us that the new believers did. I think it's a good foundation for us.

You cannot be a GOOD Christian until you get the hate, bigotry and judgment down to an art.
1. Throw intelligence and common sense out of the window.
2. Feel superior to everyone else, including other Christians.
3. Hate anyone who has the audacity to challenge your idiotic beliefs.
4. Use your idiotic bible as justification to spread this hate and bigotry.
5. Gossip about other Christians and question if they are GOOD Christians.
6. Try to force your idiotic dogma on this country through our laws.
7. Support war and killing.
8. Hinder life saving stem cell research because you are brainwashed.
9. Teach this bigotry to your home schooled children.
10. Picket and bomb women's clinics.

I don't have the slightest idea how to become a good Christian because I'm a bad one, but most of the ones I know proclaiming to be good are really just good at lying..

You can be a good christian bye obeying Gods Word and praying. but none of us is all perfect we all fall short of the glory. God Bless you

Who knows what a christian really means? They say such contradictory and often weird things. So being a "good christian" might well mean constantly contradicting yourself and spouting nonsense.

means that you follow the teachings of Jesus Christ and do your best to understand what he taught. Ask for guidance and follow where he leads. Not necessary to attend religious places in order to walk with God.
