Not that I have a problem with it, it is funny after all, but someone asked me about it and I didn't know so I thought I'd turn it over to 'ma peeps' at Yahoo answers. So what's the deal?

I've seen that alot actually. I graduated highschool in 2003 and I've seen alot of people wearing flannel pajama bottoms to school but they still managed to look nice and not like a slob. And I've had my "screw it" days where I've left the house with my hair messed up, clothes from the day before, and sunglasses as a way to "authenticate" the look lol. Seems like "trashy" is a new fad. But I think it has to do with being lazy. But in my defense I wasn't leaving the house all day, just for a few minutes so why put all that effort into it? I should leave the house looking like a million bucks all the time? LOL pfft. Also, I was at a pool hall and one time this girl came in wearing pajamas and had her hair in pigtails and with a teddy bear! Some people just go all out I guess lol but she was underage and had the nerve to ask for a beer. I'm sorry, but when I was her age and wanted to score some booze, I dressed older, she's dressed like she's 12 lol. Come on! People need to use their brains more often.

i chalk it up to sheer lainess. I know I have days where i get out of one pair of jammies and into another pair especially if i am just at the house all day and not going anywhere. As for the people who wear them to work or school i think that is a little unprofessional for the workplace and kids just dont care.

Funny , about 30 years ago my little brother did that , only under his clothes , he figured it would be a time saver getting ready for school in the morning :))

Are people doing that?
I admit that I have on more than one occasion but it was simply because I was the only one going to be there and I wanted to be comfortable.

I think it's based on laziness and a sign that our society is going to Heck in a handbasket...people just don't give a hoot anymore.

do people still wear pajama's to sleep?
i thought everyone sleeps naked.
and if you got those funky clothes that are real comfy, you might as well do something useful with them.

Very bad taste!! It also shows a lack of care about personal grooming.

Beats me, but I bet the people who do it are comfortable. I dared my best friend and her children to go with me to the movies at midnight wearing them....
It's wierd to me.
