Both are symbolic of Eternal life. The Ankh has been religiously significant longer than the cross. But timelines mean nothing to an old soul. Right has always been right, and wrong shall never be right, people argue about religion because we don't know everything that God knows, and our leaders are convinced that they do know all there is to know, therefore we are MIS-LEAD by their ignorance. In the next 20 years, war will be obsolete, because the people will become smart enough to see that we shouldn't kill each other because we percieve each other as different.

That's hard for me to say. I've always loved the ankh for it's symoblism, which is more than I can say for the cross because I'm no longer a Christian. But because I was raised Christian and because of personal tastes, I do like certain crosses, particularly Celtic or very ornate examples. It's strange, I think, that so many people wear cross necklaces and other jewelry considering that it's intended use is for torture.

For me, it would be the ankh since I am Pagan, not Christian. For one thing, the ankh to me represents being polytheistic while the cross represents being monotheistic.

I've seen both hanging across the cleavage of really hot goth chicks, so I identify with that.
