A Christian believes that the only path to Heaven and God is through Jesus. Obviously then, from that point of view, this person has a better chance to get to Heaven than someone who believes in no God. This does not change the fact that everyone has the right to believe what they want and I would hope the person would feel the same toward my beliefs. If a specific deist were to ask me my opinion on Christianity, I would be happy to share; otherwise, it is between him/her and God.

Lets take a small child who has parents that are not well edcuated, have no musical skills, or really any skills but just survivors, and yet the child at a young age displays supernatural powers..very brainy..able to play any musical instrument, and shows a high intelligence. Now I ask you,'what power is higher than the earth power of uneducated adults that gave this child this intelligence? Religion is a system for control of the masses and the son of god and jesus and mary etc etc etc, are all parts of a game to bring control to the masses so they will not be free and therefore be marked according to their dictates and dogma. 'Here is the question:'no one was on this planet or were they here before the collision of the two planets, mars and venus, and when they collided mars or venus split and became the earth planet and in thinking on these lines,'were people on it and spun into this system and there they started life again? Higher power, 'you should think this way,'are you one of the ancestors of this catastrophe and therefore looking for your intelligence of your higher power that is dorminant within you.

It's not my personal cup of tea, deism, but as a Christian, I like the fact that they acknowledge a higher power than Saturday morning cartoons.

I think It is good to at least believe in something. i don't mind what people believe in, i just know that having some sort of faith makes life a lot more meaningful. I am a Catholic and very dedicated to being one, but as you believe in something, i think that's OK!

I'll answer your question with a question. What do all blue eyed people think of Bradd Pitt ? All Christians can not be lumped in as one anymore than all blue eyed people can. Personally for me, I've been a full on Jesus lover since I was 3 and I'm 56,, I've been thru a large amount of big struggles in life, but guess who was right there holding my hand .... yes, God/Jesus. So I will present to anyone who WANTS TO KNOW what I believe in about God/Jesus and then they can choose and it is up to God to decide. My mere mortal brain isn't capable of those kinds of decisions. I know the Bible and all says you must have Jesus in your heart, but can you read others' hearts ? No, only God can.
