Is it done in fun? Are you joking around and messing about when it happens? Does he do the same with everyone else?
There are a number of factors to think about here as some guys just do the whole physical contact bit without really thinking about it.
However if he's comfortable enough with you that he thinks this is ok then there could be something there. Next time he does it tease him about flirting with you and see how he reacts!

naturally there is the negative and positive powers in humans.a man can not touch a woman he is not interested in, cas he has that negative power in him that stops him from poking even in a joke and so if a man pokes a woman knowingly it means he wants her.

yes, but that doesnt nessisarily mean hes interested. my best friend flirts with girls all the time, not cuz hes interested, but because thats the only way he knows how to get them to be friends with him.

um, i wouldn't call that flirting. my buddies poke me, guy or girl, they just do it to make me laugh or to bug me. ergh. it just might depend on how they poke you, but usually it's probably to just make the moment fun.
