Are they comparing themselves to Dark Ages? Wow.
It's 2007, and Islam is the only violent religion in the world nowadays. Why don't they have the guts to admit their religion is a suitable climate for terrorism?

muslims are trained to lie. why because they are told by muhammed to make war with the unbelievers and "war" , in the words of muhammed "is deceit". they cling to the notion that the world was enlightened by islam coming into the word but cant explain why it is that after the 10th century islam has become impoverished and ignorant! what they try to do is tell you that the crusades and colonialism are the root causes of their demise, but that is part of their own attempts to portray themselves as victims while preparing to dominate the world.

muhammed was a war mongering imperialist. He waited to build his armies , then broke peace treaties, dominated his foes killed their men and enslaved their women and children. the crusades were a response from the orthodox and catholic churches against 400 years of muslim tyranny. Christianity , judaism, hinduism, nor buddhism have a text such as surah 9:5 which states "fight and kill the disbelievers wherever you find them, take them captive, lie in wait and ambush them using every strategem of war" "allah said, a prophet must slaughter before collecting captives. a slaughtered enemy is driven from the land. muhammed , you craved the desires of this world, and the ransom captives would bring. But allah desires killing them to manifest the religion." Ishaq 327 reminiscent of the beheadings or the terrorizing of iraqi civilians going on today.

muhammed instituted that the only translation of the quran could be arabic. you must face arabia when praying, and only the tribe kureish in arabia can claim the caliphate. if this is not imperialistic I dont know what is.

"lo, fight them until all opposition ends and the only religion is Islam" (8:39) sounds like world domination to me.

"our prophet, the messenger of our lord, ordered us to fight youtill you worship allah alone or pay us the jizya tribute tax in submission. " Bukhari V4B53N386

Jizya was paid by christians and jews for "protection" which meant if you paid you lived , if you didnt you died. polytheists only had the choice of conversion or death. Hmm what would I choose?

and for all the peaceful early texts, muhammed spoke of abrogation (nashk) where by early peaceful texts are abrogated by ones like 9:5 considered by all historians as the last revealed surah.

but hey we should just ignore its history from the time of muhammed, ifgnore the quran and sunnah and ignore current events and believe it is a religion of peace?

Nonsense! I've never heard the Muslims complain about the Crusades. In fact it was that complete and utter idiot GW Bush who was the first one to start comparing his war to the Crusades. Quite stupid really, since the Christians lost the Crusades in the end. At the time when the whole of Europe was in the grip of the Dark Ages under Christian rule, it was the Arabic world who made advances in science, maths, etc.
Islam is most definately NOT the only violent religion in the world even today. Or did you forget places like Ireland where Christians murdered each other because of doctrinal differences. And that's only one example.
And remember, one man's freedom fighter is another man's terrorist...

turntable you have no idea what your talking about...the Christian crusades came about cause the church was trying to enforce its agreed upon doctrine upon the people....its our way or no way...period

Muslims have never slaughtered in ordered to force people to convert as that is impossible...if people are forced to convert then as soon as the enforcer is gone then so would be the force....Asia had no maurading Muslims at its shores wielding the sword and shouting Holy War or jihad thoughout its history and yet Asia has the highest number of muslims in the world...where is the sword...where is the force?

If things from the past didnt matter then why the hell do we keep history books and bring up the past time and again in all matters of life? history matters thats why. if history didnt matter there wouldnt be govts apologizing for some crime committed hundreds of years ago against some people or country that matters little today but smooths the way for politics and makes people feel better for some reason. The crusades matter little to those on the winning side I would venture but means a whole lot to those who were the losers....

They were Dark Ages for Europe, but the Muslim world was helping the world to advance.

I can claim these years are the Dark Ages for Muslims, still what the terrorists do is not Islam as is what they crusaders did.

Is Islam the only violent religion? There's plenty more religions out there that are violent towards each other. We are just lucky to live in a country that protects religous freedom.

It's not fun to think about, but even Christians back in crusades and even now will justify killing or squashing another religion for aggrandizement.

Hey, I'm a muslim, and these crusaders we don't remind you of that.
We're not terrorists, you seem to not have read my answer to your previous question, or you just keep being against Islam.

OK, keep being happy in your full of murders, burglaries, torturings, thefts, children sleeping in streets, betrayals,........community, I have too many to count, just for your information we muslims are very happy being in a clean community with no problems with anybody with a loving family, not with divorced parents one here and one there.
Why don't you talk about your destroyed community?

Now every stupid uneducated person will give me a thumb down.

And this tuberroot is one of these uneducated, I am the one who feel so so sorry for him, we know Jesus the christ, and we do worship a true god, it's the same as yours.
You know what? I won't keep arguing with you, we'll see who'll have the good life then, REMEMBER.
