In some people yes. In others, caffeine withdrawal will cause migraines. In others, myself included, caffeine can help relieve migraine symptoms. Caffeine is a very peculiar drug when it comes to migraines.

Unfortunately, the jury is still out on that one. Some people actually get relief from drinking coffee and caffeine is often a component in some pain medications. Personally, it helps me, but I only get about one or two migraines a year. A majority of my headaches are cluster headaches caused by a life threatening illness called vasculitis and often need a shot of Toradol in the hip.

This one you will get a lot of different answers on but I have had severe cluster migraines for 20 years and caffeine does not affect me at all. There are different types of migraines so I wouldn't be sure on the rest of them.

Caffeine can cause headaches if you have too much or if you're dependent on it and are having a withdrawal...

But I've never heard of it causing an actual full-on migraine.

No body can tell, these are the facts to be observed.
Every body has a different constitution.
There is no medicine for H/A OR MIGRAINE. Not only these but for almost all painful diseases. Hence they become chronic.
Acidity, excessive wind, cold , heat, sour food and sinusitis, constipation, intestinal inflammation;
Blockage in the flow of Vital Energy are their causes. None of them can be treated with medicine. Our 100% success in treating migraine &H/A confirms it.
Acupuncture is the best treatment. I can treat it with naturopathy and YOG, but how can you manage pl see.
Avoid late sleeping if possible;spicy, sour, stale bakery foods and alcohole.
Sweet foods, sweet fruits, milk, rice and good sleep will help you.
But you try one herbal remedy- two drops of drumstick leaves' juice in opposite nostril if one side pains and both nostrils if full H/A will give you rescue. Betel leaf helps but it isvery strong.
If it is acute pl search a painful point 3-6 mm behind your thumb nail and press it, H/A will disappear within 30 seconds.

Definitely. I gave up coffee cold turkey once and I had a really bad headache and I hated the light plus I felt kind of naucous for a least two days. After that, I still had a headache for a few days but one that was milder.
