Why? Are you open to hear about other religions? Do you have doubt about your religion?

Any scriptures that help you think you are in the truth?
What about Matthew 24:14? Why aren't you doing that?

Yes I do. There can not be two sets of truth that are opposite each other. The truth will not allow for all the different kinds of religious doctrine in the world. For example, either humans have a soul that survives the death of the body or they do not. Either the earth will last forever or it will not. Either God will bring wickedness to an end or he will not. These and many other beliefs are either right or wrong. There cannot be two sets of truth when one does not agree with the other. One or the other is true, but not both. Sincerely believing something, and practicing that belief, will not make it right if it really is wrong.
If I did not believe firmly that my religion was true, I would be searching for the one that is. However, since I have already found the truth, there is no need to search. (John 6:68)

I am however, interested in people and their beliefs up to a point. If they are humble and honest, I am delighted to compare what I have learned from the Bible with their beliefs. (Acts 17:2, 3.) However, I don't waste my time with belligerent, argumentative people, whose purpose is not a civil exchange but to raise and spread contention.

1. I don't just 'think' it is the Only True Faith...
I KNOW IT IS.

2. why u ask...
I searched, studied, researched, and "actually saw"
that This One IS God's Truth!!, or in other words;
that God really is w/ these ppl;
they have God's blessing.

3. I learn about other faiths, so I can become 'as needed'
a Jew, a Greek etc...so that others can see that God is w/ me...
i.e. I speak the truth; not of my own originality.
prime example: I was speaking to some older Jewish women,
I know that it's not cool w/ them to speak the
name of God...ssooo when 1 flat out asked me about my faith,
I said "I worship the God of Abraham, Issac & Joseph"
(clearly another way to identify YHWH),
she 'perked up real quick like' & asked "r u Jewish?"
No, I'm not; but, He is The One True God" I responded.
Other than that,
NO, I don't need nor want to know about false religion.

4.I don't doubt it, but, I do believe it's possible that
man can miss some points. But, NOT GOD.
If corrections are necessary, He will handle it.
No one else can do a thing, to stop Him.
Or direct His ppl, here on earth.

Yes, I think following Jesus is the truth. I always study other religions. I don't doubt the basics of my faith. There is one true faith, but not one true "religion" or church. Every church is wrong about some things. The most important requirement is the basic belief of Jesus coming down to earth to die for our sins, and that we need to accept him as our Saviour, and have a relationship with him. We cannot earn it by belonging to a certain church or by working for it. It is a free gift.
Christianity has spread the gospel across the whole world, and still does, in reference to Matt. 24:14. Our church has missionaries all over the world, and helps with community needs.

Of course I do or I would be in a different one.

I don't have doubts, or I would fix them.

I am open to hear about other ones, but the true religion would go to people.

I am a JW, and I know I have found the truth. There is only one faith according to the Bible. I have no doubt about my religion, and I am not open to hear about any other religion.
I say this, not trying to sound arrogant, or haughty, but with conviction.

>>Do you think your religion is the only true one?<<

Yes.

>>Why?<<

Because I studied it with the intent of proving it wrong, but instead became convinced, much to my horror, that it was right. I simply found the evidence overwhelming.

>>Are you open to hear about other religions?<<

Yes.

>>Do you have doubt about your religion?<<

No. I would not have converted to a religion I once hated with a passion if I had doubt.

I would like to think that it's the only true one. But if I were to be brutally honest, I really don't know.

I think it is healthy to question your religion and explore others.
If you are armed with knowledge about other religions, you are well equipped to make the right decision for which one suits you best.
