Breast reduction?
I just had a breast reduction a few months ago and my doc tells me that some pain at this point is normal, but I was just wondering what some peoples experiences were who had this. I feel that I should not be having this kind of pain this far after surgery. Please, no wiseguy cracks.

No, no swelling beyond very slight, pain seems to be general and not too specific. Sometimes it is a sharp stabby pain that goes away after a minute, other times it is a dull ache that won't quit. I went from a 36EE to a solid D.

You are healing after two major surgeries (one to each breast).

Keep complaining to the doctor if it is still painful.

Do you have pain killers?

I haven't personally had a brest reduction done, but I know a lot of women who have. All of the women I know who had breast reductions done complained about pain well past a year of having it done. Do remember though! If you're ever uncomfortable with the answer a doctor has given you, or you feel that they aren't listening, get a second opinion! You know your body and you're the only one who knows exactly how you feel. Generally, if you have the gut instinct "this isn't right" it isn't. Make sure that you're doing everything absolutely right for your post surgery care, and begin to look into other doctors for a second opinion!

Good luck!

while I've no direct response to ur question, i do want to say one thing though. it is good to feel good about yourself regardless of the form, shape or look of the natural endowments you have. What you have done to yourself thus far is enough. Pl do not tamper any further with nature in the same way. You may however explore harmless cosmetics if you desire to enhance your looks. People tell me i am very handsome but most times i don't even know it. Meanwhile i have seen people who in my opinion are ugly, who think they are smashing and go about with a lot of ego. The truth is, you are what or how you feel inside, not what people see outside.

Do you have inflammation and/or swelling?
Have you healed along your suture-lines?
What kind of pain are you having...?!...
I'd love to help, but not enough info.
