German shorthaired pointers have sort of the same body shape and frequently have spots of a kind, but not in black/white. Is that what you mean?

If you are talking about the shape, I'd say an English Pointer. Some people will even ask if my Dalmatian is a birddog !

In order to try to improve urinary stones and maybe the hearing in the Dalmatian, a few were bred to Pointers about 25 years ago - because of the similarity.

1/2 Dalmatian or 3/4 Dalmatian can look a lot like a purebred. I've seen pit bull and bull terriers show the spotting because either by accident or on purpose, the white was brought into those breed types. The Dals gave the Stanfordshire bull terriers more leg and less chunk like a Bulldog (as in English Bulldog). Too bad the temperament did not pass on!

A harlequin Great Dane is much, much larger than a Dal, but they do have large, uneven, dark patches on their body. The Dane is so much larger, I can't see how they look like a Dalmatian.

It does not look like spotting though. It is a different gene that produces this - more merle pattern in the Dane.

I am CURIOUS as to why you want to know....... ?
