and can i put my male shih-tzu in the same room with the other dogg. im not going to keep in im just waiting until someone claims the puppy.but MY dog barks after he smels the mixed dogg what do i do?help!!

but i dont whant to take it to a pound i hate them .i hate peple that kill animals.but the dog i found is really calm.you can carry him like a baby and dosent care!

also its mean to just giv it away to someone else!!i also dont want to keep it, because he pees everywhere!oh are any one of you guyz pshycics because do you no where my dogs leash is?i cant find it lol!

he is a stray but i seriously dont want him i just want someone the rightful and real owner to get him i feel soo bad, and sad.how much will they charge to scan the dog to check if he has a microchip pleas!??

You can take him to a shelter to see if anyone has reported a missing dog. you can also take him to the vet to see if he has a chip in his back to see if he is missing and the vet can call the rightful owners to claim the dog. Thats if he had the chip implanted. You can also put an ad stating you found a dog.
I believe some vets won't charge for checking the dog for the chip in his back. You can call the vet first to see if the do charge. Tell you found a stray dog and are in need of finding his owners. And that you want to check if he has a microchip implanted in his back.

oh, i had that problem when i brought my new puppy home and my dog i already had kept barking.
Dont worry about the barking, they will get used to each other in a couple of days, and then they'll act like they've known each other for years lol.
..that way, u could keep him if you please.
If you cant keep him, put flyers up and give a CERTAIN time limit for the person to claim the dog. If no one claims him, put up diffrent flyers that says ur giving away a dog and he needs a loving home.

You'll need to contact your local animal shelters and veterinarians. Put up fliers about a found dog too, but give a vague description or none at all. Just the location you found him in. No one is going to claim him if they don't know you have him.
I would keep him away from your other dog in case he is diseased or dangerous.
*You don't have to give the dog to the pound. Just let them know you have him in case the owner comes looking for him, then they can contact you. Also, there are "No Kill" shelters.

dont put themin the same room or let your dog get used to it he cant bark forever
what does hr look like we lost a dog thats a chihuahua but it looks like a chi mixed with a terrier but he was pure breed he was brown different shades of brown his name was nico we had him for 4 years then he got out we looked for him for months put up fliers andevery thing but nothing he was really cute and nice

Contact your local shelter, put up signs. You can try putting hte dogs in the same room but you want to supervise it just incase something goes wrong.you can also put an add in the paper that you found a dog, or on craigslist.

Give the dog away to some people that loves dogs, In Singapore, we will bring them to SPCA (The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals).

If no one claims him, keep him. Your other dog will eventually stop barking and learn to Deal with the mixed.

you can put up signs an keeping it until is a good thing and if your dog keeps barking then let the dogs together more and soon they will end up friends if you let them stay away from each other then your dog is just goin to keep barkin

As long as your dog is vaccinated ,and they get along,of course you can put them together.If they want to fight,then it wouldn't be wise!
