I went out for a meal with a friend last night, and during the meal realised that my vision was slightly blurred. I thought it might be because I was a little tired.... we only had one bottle of wine between us! This morning my vision is still blurred. I can only just manage to read this screen. Any ideas?

None of us are near to your eyes in order to see whats going on there.Because we cant examine them, it would be a good idea for you to make an appointment at an optician.

He or she will check your eyesight and examine your eyes with a machine that measures pressure behind them, especially if you explain about the blurring.

Opticians are brilliant and they find out whats wrong, if they suspect diabetes or tumours or anything else, they can and will send you to see an eye speciallist at the hospital.

So my first recommendation would be make that appointment to have an eye test NOW

Yes I have an idea. This can occur in people with elevated blood sugar levels as in diabetes mellitus. You should have a 12 hour fast and get your blood sugar tested. The reason for the blurred vision is a swelling of the cornea.

My mom is in her 70's and she was dogged by this ringing in her ears for about 5 years. Her doc said she would have to live with it, and then a friend told her about this holistic cure. Mom was old school, and she didn't want to consider it, but I sneaked a copy of this book for her, and I read it to her! I made her try it, and 5 months later it was almost gone. It was like Wow !
