5,000 years and thousands of Israelite Prophets and one sentence from Paul negated all that ??

Even the Desciples of Jesus followed the Mosaic Law STRICTLY.

I'm just curious... What one sentence are you referring to?
Without knowing I can't respond, please give chapter and verse.

Terrorist,
Paul had nothing to do with negating the Mosaic Laws. The Mosaic Laws were in effect until the death, burial, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus Christ. After that, the Apostles were given gifts from the HOLY SPIRIT which allowed them to preach at Pentecost in tongues and begin the Church that Christ forecast. HIS CHURCH began in Acts 2. There were many baptisms talked about throughout the book of Acts. Paul became an Apostle and wrote part of the New Testament (GOD'S Inspired Writings). Have a wonderful weekend.
Thanks,
Eds

I think you misunderstand something here, and that is very easy to do- No Paul is not greater than God- He himself, said he was the Pharisee of Pharisees, and knew , and followed the laws of God- but then He found the Christ- who is the fulfillment of the law. Paul was used by God to point the Gentiles to the truth about Jesus- and by the way what sentence are you referring too? and why do you think that it negates the law. By the way, there are hundreds of mosaic laws, and Jesus Himself brought them done to two- 1- Love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind soul and strength, and love your neighbor as yourself."

He did not negate them.

He simply taught us that we had been granted diplomatic immunity from them.

Meaning, we no longer had to pay the sin debt for the breaking of the laws.

Now, the kicker, if you Love God, you will WANT to keep his commands, but you will not face eternal death for the breaking of these very laws.

Its about our hearts, and Paul states that over and over, and so does the entire old testament. For if it werent about the heart, King David would be burning in Hell, but the bible states that he was a man after Gods own heart, even with his many well known faults including adultry and murder.

Jesus said in Matthew 22:36, "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' All the Law and the prophets hang on these two commandments."

The laws were not destroyed, they were fulfilled by Jesus. We are now judged by what we do about Jesus (acceptance or rejection) rather than judgment for following laws.

Laws are to show us what sin is and that we can not follow them perfectly. Jesus did. Knowing and following Jesus gives us a personal relationship with God. God offers us love forgiveness and grace, through Him. Jesus is not a religion. Acceptance of Him as our Lord and Savior is what God now requires of us.

I want to be sure that you know that I am just being analytical to your question.

Paul did not negate the Law of Moses any more than Jesus did. Jesus fulfilled the Law of Moses. What Paul did was say why the Law was there in the first place.

He does that here:
Romans 3
20Therefore no one will be declared righteous in his sight by observing the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of sin.

We are convicted of sin by the Law, in case we are curious if we measure up to God's standards.

Jesus came to FULLFILLED the law on man's behalf.

Paul did not negate the law..he just "negated" people to Jesus!

Becuase it is through this Man, JESUS CHRIST, man can only be justified and NOT justified by the law of Moses! (in the book of ACTS).

Therefore the Jews stumbled on this stumbling stone : that Jesus is their Righteousness before God and NOT their good works of keeping the Laws!

Selah. (Pause and think)

The only diciples who acted hypocritically was Peter. He acted Jewish by observing the laws when he is amongst the jews..but while he was with the gentiles, he acted likewise. However, Paul saw this and REBUKED Peter!

As you have received Christ, so walk IN HIM. The bible does not say " so walk in the Law".

Paul was the first to turn Jesus into a demagogue. He worshiped Christ but did not follow the religion of Jesus, the Gnostic teacher who has been perverted to serve the ruling masters starting with Nicea

Chrsitians worship God and it is not one word from Paul but the entire Word of God. Many would blame Paul for teaching the word of God it is not a new message but the same message. Jesus fufilled the law and those who accept the atonement are by faith made new. Jesus himself taught this...remember he said it is not what goes into a man that defiles him? I'll look that up for you....Jesus came to fufill the law and to through his sacrifice bring God's creation to his righteousness. We who accept the atonement are by faith made new and in agreement with God's righteouness. We are not worshiping God through the law and tradition but worship him in spirit and truth. We no longer worship by traditions and shadows that represent the coming of Chrsit as in sacrifices.. Jesus did come and the atonement was for a purpose....The sacrifices were shadows of the coming of our lord.

Mark 7: 15 There is nothing from without a man, that entering into him can defile him: but the things which come out of him, those are they that defile the man.

Jesus is the Word of God and these are HIS words.
Paul teaches the Word of God.

The Mosaic Law was not God's Laws. Jesus described it as piling burdens upon people that the ministers of the law were unwilling to carry themselves.
