A female pal of mine won't talk to me now because I gave her a stern lecture on not leading guys on if she has no interest in them. She was really guilty of this and admitted it. Now, she doesn't want to hang out with me. Why do girls do that? Sometimes it is necessary to get your ego busted for your own good.

She'll get over it, but people in general don't like being spoken to like children. They feel disrespected. Even if you were correct, if you talked down to her, she'll probably be bitter for awhile.

Shes a girl she knows she was wrong she just doesn't want to admit it give her some time hopefully she'll come around.

Sometimes the truth hurts. She is probably embarrased and feeling guilty. Give her some time, she will more than likely get over it shortly.

I agree for when you girls do this, you are setting your self up for rape and assault. Trauma is not worth the extra attention. When a guy friend tells you a legitimate problem, do not take it personal for it is how he shows he cares.

umm..girls just hate it when they are wrong and you are right..but she shouldn't completely not want to be around you anymore..hopefully she'll get over being so mad and will talk to you again.
